Loch Ness is not the only loch or lake to have a monster legend attached to it. Nessie, however, is probably the best known.

Answer: Whitebridge

The Loch Ness Marathon starts at Whitebridge. Parts of the route provide great views of the loch. It is a testing run with some steep hills to be negotiated before the finish in Inverness.
