The Galapagos Islands, famous as the location of the discovery of evolution by Charles Darwin, are a major tourist attraction located about 600 miles off of the coastline of Ecuador. Authentic Panama hats are a type of straw hat that are made ONLY in Ecuador. They are named after Panama because they were popular among workers on the Panama Canal.
