The baht is the Thai currency, the kip is Laos', while the rupiah is used in Indonesia.

A nice little town, it is located about 120km west of Bangkok. There are two museums about the POW camp and the war. You can walk over the bridge, or take a train, and in the first week of December there is a sound and light show at the bridge.
