Answer: Captain Jean Danjou 's 3rd Company, 1st Battalion, French Foreign Legion

Answer: Battle of Isandhlwana

There were only 55 British survivors at Isandhlwana. Shortly after, the garrison at Rorke's Drift managed to repulse a heavy Zulu attack, killing 400 or 500 warriors and losing 17 of their own. The British revenged Isandhlwana and won the war at the battles of Khambula and Ulundi.
3. February, 1836. The Mexican government sends General Antonio de Santa Ana as a response to the Texas rebellion and demands for independence. 4. Why did Colonel William Barrett Travis draw a line in the dirt with his sword before the above mentioned battle?

Answer: To allow his men to choose between saving their lives or fighting to the death

'A hundred and eighty were challenged by Travis to die, with a line that he drew with his sword when the battle was nigh. The man who would fight to the death cross over but he who that would live better fly! And over the line stepped a hundred and seventy-nine...' Jane Bowers: Remember The Alamo
