Answer: Iris

Iris is not recognized as much as Hermes for being a messenger. Iris is also considered as the rainbow goddess.

Athena and Poseidon fought over who would get Athens named after them.
Athena gave the first olive tree. Poseidon gave Athens a spring of salt water.
Athena won.

Answer: Charon

Charon is the ferryman of the Underworld. He will not let you ride the ferry unless you pay him a certain amount of Drachmas.

Answer: Hades

After the gods beat the titans, Zeus got the sky, Poseidon got the sea, and Hades got the underworld. Therefore Hades was not considered an Olympian.
7. Who did Dionysus take the place of?

Answer: Hestia

Dionysus was going to be on Olympus, but there were already 12 spots taken. The Olympians believed that 13 was an unlucky number, so somebody had to go. Hestia said that, "The hearth was her home", so Dionysus took Hestia's spot on Olympus.
8. What is the answer to the Sphinx's riddle?

Answer: man

The Sphinx guarded Thebes. If you wanted to get past you would have to answer this riddle, "Which creature in the morning goes on four legs, at mid-day two, and in the evening upon three?" Oedipus solved it.

9. Who turned Medusa into a monster?

Answer: Athena

Medusa was beautiful. She stole a man from Athena, so whenever Medusa met a man they would turn to stone.
10. Who made Aphrodite marry Hephaestus?

Answer: Zeus

When Aphrodite came on Olympus everybody loved her. To end the constant feud of who should get her, Zeus picked somebody to marry her so it would end.
