Melrose Plant of Ardry End in Long Piddleton has gone undercover to help Richard solve crime on more than one occasion.

Answer: Carole-anne Pulatski

Carole-Anne is Richard's neighbor who seem to deliberately muddle his telephone messages from women callers, and loves to do a quick fry up in Richard's kitchen. She works as a fortune teller.
3. Who is the biggest moocher at The Jack and Hammer?

Answer: Mrs. Withersby

Mrs. Withersby is supposed to be the char at the Jack and Hammer and bums cigarettes and shots of gin from Melrose and the gang.

Aunt Agatha shows up regularly for tea, and eats almost everything on the tea tray although she also regularly complains about the quality of the tea tray items. She's also known for stealing small items of value and displaying them at her own home.
