1. The ascendant Cotillion 'The Rope' took over a young girl's body. What name did he use when he joined the Bridgeburners?

Answer: Sorry

Cotillion is the Patron of Assassins and he wanted to join the Bridgeburners in order to influence events in Pale. The girl decided to name herself Aspalar after Cotillion vacated her body. Nightchill was a High Mage of the Empress Laseen. Sulty was a serving woman in the Phoenix Inn.

This tale is told in the book "Gardens of the Moon" which is the first book of the "A Tale of the Mazalan Book of the Fallen" series.
2. Why did Dessembrae, Lord of Tragedy, want to kill Hood, King of High House Death?

Answer: He blamed him for the death of his daughter

Dessembrae Lord of Tragedy was once Dassem Ultor the First Sword of the Empire and Knight of High House Death. When Dassem's daughter was killed during the performance of a ritual to chain the Crippled God, he blamed Hood and vowed revenge.

Dessembrae is a character mentioned in several books from the ten-book series of "A Tale of the Mazalan Book of the Fallen".
3. How did The Errant lose his eye?

Answer: His eye was plucked out by Feather Witch

The Errant decided to sacrifice his high priestess Feather Witch in order to increase his power. In the ensuing struggle she plucked out his eye and swallowed it to save herself.

4. When Fener the Boar of Summer was killed it had a profound effect on the T'lan Imass. What happened?

Answer: They became living humans again.

The T'Lan Imass had performed a ritual centuries ago to become undead in order to exterminate the Jaghut race. When Fener the God of War was killed, his blood rained down on the T'Lan Imass and they became human again.

Kallor, the High King attempted to murder Silverfox but Whiskeyjack stepped in to defend her. Whiskeyjack's leg had been badly injured previously so, although he was the better swordsman and was winning the fight, his leg buckled under him and broke. This caused him to fall and then Kallor struck him fatally.

This is a tale from "Memories of Ice", the third book of the series.
6. What was unusual about Bugg, Tehol Beddict's servant? .

Answer: He was Mael, Elder God of the sea.

Mael was tired of being a god so he decided to live among humans. He liked Tehol and being his servant amused him.

Bugg (Mael) is a recurring character first introduced in the fifth book "Midnight Tides".
7. Tomas Sengar, a Tiste Edur, gave his son Binadas a ship. How did the ship move on the sea?

Answer: The ship was rowed by headless Tiste Andii

Binadas was going to look for his brother Trull. He was given the ship to help him in his quest.

This is a tale from the sixth book, "The Bonehunters".
8. Which Gods/goddesses are oponn?

Answer: Twin Jesters of Chance

They were the Lord and Lady of Chance. He pushed for bad luck and she pulled for good fortune.

The Oponn are recurring characters first mentioned in the first book, "Gardens of the Moon".
9. How did a Tiste Edur man declare his love for a woman?

Answer: He offered her his sword

The man would offer the woman his sword. If the woman accepted his proposal she would take the sword and bury it beneath the step of her threshold. Trull Sengar declared his love for Acquittor Seren Pedac in this way.

10. Toc the Younger's soul was put into another body after he died. Into whose body was his soul placed?

Answer: Anaster, Child of the Dead Seed

Togg and Fanderay, the Wolves of Winter, were the God and Goddess of the Grey Swords. Toc the Younger was chosen to be the Mortal Sword in that army.
