Answer: The Who Sing My Generation

Released 1965 and contains the Who's most famous anthem "My Generation".
The Who also went on to write and record the a rock opera 'Tommy' in 1969. They also released another full length opera 'Quadrophenia' which told the story of the mod/rocker conflict of the late '60s in Britain and seemed to be a story of the Who themselves.

Interestingly 'Marianne Faithfull' and 'Come My Way' were both issued on the same day in 1965. During her career, she has reinvented her style a number of times, from a pop singer in the sixties to a tough social commentator and cabaret style singer through the 80's and '90s. 'Broken English' was a remarkable comeback album in 1979 after an absence of nearly 10 years from the recording studio.
