Born Cherilyn Sarkisian (aka Cher) in May of 1946, Cher is one of the most enduring pop idols ever. Starting with Sonny Bono and Phil Spector in the early 1960s, she was part of the highly successful duo called Sonny and Cher, but also became a solo artist and after the breakup of the duo, continued to record as a solo artist and had some of her biggest successes in the 1970s with songs like "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves", "Half Breed", and "Dark Lady".

The 1980s saw her hit the charts with songs like "I Found Someone", "If I Could Turn Back Time", and "After All", a duet with former Chicago bassist and vocalist Peter Cetera.

The 1990s saw her have perhaps her biggest hit with the techno-pop sensation "Believe". Going into the 21st century she hit the charts in 2002 with the minor hit called "Song for the Lonely".

Harry Nilsson III (aka Nilsson) was born in Brooklyn New York in 1941. He worked with various artists through the 1960s and finally broke through with a minor hit called "Everybody's Talkin'" in 1968. After being used in the soundtrack of the 1969 motion picture "Midnight Cowboy", the song was re-released and became his first Top Ten Billboard hit in the U.S., reaching number six.

After that other hits followed such as "I Guess The Lord Must Be In New York City", "Without You" (the biggest hit of his career), and "Coconut".

He also wrote a song called "One" which was a major hit for Three Dog Night. Harry continued recording into the early 1980s but largely retired from the business. He passed away due to heart failure in 1994.

His one major hit was "Somebody's Watching Me" which hit number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts and number one on the R & B charts. It also was a top ten hit in Canada, Switzerland, the U.K. and New Zealand.

Tiffany Renee Darwish (aka Tiffany) was born in 1971 and grew up in California. She began singing at age four and was singing in various places in California. In 1985 she appeared on the American TV show "Star Search" (a forerunner of today's "American Idol") and finished in second place.

She secured a recording contract and released a single called "Danny" as part of her debut album in 1987. The song failed to chart. In conjunction with her record company, it was decided that she would tour shopping malls across the country to promote the album.

After this tour, she hit with a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells' tune "I Think We're Alone Now" which went to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Other hits followed such as "Could've Been" and a modified cover of The Beatles "I Saw Her Standing There" titled "I Saw Him Standing There", as well as "All This Time".

She recorded some songs during the decade of 2000-2010, but none of them charted.
