Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. It's rather odd for a song that went to Number Four on the Billboard Top 100 Charts and Number One on Modern Rock Tracks to deal with addiction to crystal meth, but this one does. What's the song?

Answer: Semi-Charmed Life (Third Eye Blind)

"Semi-Charmed Kind of Life" was a huge hit in the summer of 1997. The fast uptempo song made a heavy contrast with what the song was actually about, crystal meth addiction. Stephen Jenkins, the lead singer of the band, wrote the song in response to Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side".

The single features two different versions: the clean edit and the radio edit. The clean edit removed the reference to crystal meth.
