Having until now been based in Seattle, Washington, the band moved to Vancouver, Canada, where they signed with Mushroom Records.

The album "Dreamboat Annie", which also had the hit single "Crazy on You", eventually sold over a million copies. So did its successor, "Little Queen". By this time the band had left Mushroom and gone to Portrait Records, causing a major legal battle.

Following the release of "Dog and Butterfly" in 1978, the group began to disintegrate. Roger Fisher left to form his own band, and Nancy took over lead guitar. While their 1985 album, "Heart" sold over five million copies, they had lost their musical direction.
