Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At one point, while the band is being interviewed, Adam is seen drinking something. What was he drinking?

Answer: beer

He is clearly seen holding and sipping from a beer can. I used to know which brand of beer it was, but I can't remember for sure right now which kind it was. Seems as though I remember it being some sort of import beer though.
2. When the band goes to Graceland, they try to sweet talk a tour guide into letting Larry take a picture on one of Elvis's motorcycles. It worked! What was the tour guide's name?

Answer: her name is never mentioned in the movie

Just thought I'd throw this one in there to see if you were paying attention. : )
3. What specific place was the band in when they decided to make a stop to sing with a church choir?

Answer: Harlem

The song they sang, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", was turned into a beautiful, virtually religious experience on the album.
4. Which of the following U.S. states was part of "Rattle and Hum" NOT filmed in?

Answer: Oklahoma

"When Love Comes To Town" was filmed in Texas. We see Bono and Edge acting goofy at the bank of the Mississippi River, in Tennessee. And, of course, one of the most infamous parts of the movie was the sold out concert in Arizona.
5. What is the name of the arena where U2 performed with BB King in the movie?

Answer: Tarrant County Convention Center

The movie actually titles the Convention Center "Tarrant County Arena" or something like that, yet as living in Fort Worth and passing by the convention center 3 or 4 times a week, I know the real name. : ) Before U2 came along, the TCCC housed nothing more than local circuses, inner city hockey games, and a meeting place for monstrous conventions that came into town. Since the movie was released, the TCCC has hosted such acts as Metallica, Pantera, and dozens of others.
6. What song was U2 playing when Larry is seen without his shoes?

Answer: Angel of Harlem

This happened while they were in the Sun City studios. ("Larry...Mullen...Junior!") : )
7. Which group of the following songs appeared on the album, but NOT during the movie?

Answer: Hawkmoon269/ Love Rescue Me/ All I Want Is You

Technically, "All I Want Is You" was not ON the movie, because it was only played during the credits.
8. Which group of the following songs appeared on the movie, but NOT the album?

Answer: Sunday Bloody Sunday/ Where The Streets Have No Name/ With or Without You

"Sunday Bloody Sunday" was not added to the album, as you'll remember, because the band didn't feel anyone would "understand how they were feeling that day". "WTSHNN" and "With or Without You" were both done during live concert segments of the movie.
9. Larry showed us his tender side by nearly breaking down in tears after visiting Elvis's grave at Graceland. He said, "I wish he'd of been buried somewhere where I couldn't have gone." Yet, what was unusual about that comment?

Answer: Elvis is well known (rumored?) to be buried somewhere else besides Graceland.

Poor Larry was criticized in the media for being naive, and a bit of an airhead for his comment. I'm still not sure if Elvis is actually buried at the Graceland site or not...
10. Which one of these songs was not exclusive to "Rattle and Hum" (it appeared on an album before "Rattle and Hum")?

Answer: Silver And Gold

"Silver and Gold" was a U2 song from the "Artists Against Apartheid" compilation album back in 1985.
