By The Clash, this song was originally called 'King of Hell' and was recorded late in the sessions for the band's 'London Calling' album. Bill Price and Mick Jones attempted to create a Phil Spector-style Wall of Sound for the song. To help achieve this effect, Headon's drum patterns were based on The Ronettes' 'Be My Baby'.

Although most of these rumours are untrue, it is true that Seress himself committed suicide, as did as did Billie Mackenzie of the band The Associates, who recorded a cover of Billie Holiday's version of the song in 1982.

The song is by Jesus and Mary Chain, a band who become notorious for their live performances. Their gigs were played with their backs to the audience and with constant feedback and distortion. The band would smash their instruments at the end of a performance, which often encouraged the audience to riot. The founding members of the band Pete Doherty and Carl Barat met when Barat was at university studying drama, and sharing a flat with Pete's older sister Amy-Jo Doherty.

They both quit their respective university courses, sharing a flat together in North London and forming a band. The Libertines broke up in December 2004 due to tensions in Barat's and Doherty's relationship and Pete's addictions to crack cocaine and heroin.

The song is 'Paper Planes' by MIA (born Mathangi Arulpragasam). Although she was born in London, she moved with her parents to their native Sri Lanka when she was just six months old. MIA is known for using her music as a platform for her political ideologies, and has expressed her dissatisfaction over the 'War on Terror'- "You can't separate the world into two parts like that, good and evil.
