After the death of Alexander the Great, the Philopator family had control of Egypt. Cleopatra VII Philopator eventually because the ruler. Whether from love or for political reasons, Cleopatra had a relationship with Julius Caesar and they had a child, Caesarion. After Caesar's death, Cleopatra aligned herself with Mark Antony. They had three children.
After losing in battle to Octavian, Antony killed himself, and Cleopatra soon followed suit. Ceasarion became pharaoh for a short while until he was defeated and killed by Octavian's forces.

Only Odysseus, still in disguise, passed the test.

He then revealed himself, and killed the suitors.

The character of Don Juan has been used by many authors, and has many variations.

King Edward VIII was the son of King George V. Edward became king January 20, 1936 after the death of his father. Edward fell in love with Wallis Simpson, an American socialite and divorcee who had been married twice before. Her status was unacceptable for a king and head of the Church of England. So on December 11 1936 he abdicated as king, and his brother, George VI, succeeded him.

Mumtaz Mahal was born Arjumand Banu Begum of a wealthy family and she was well educated. She was married at the age of 19 in 1612 to Prince Khurram as his second wife. His royal name was Shah Jahan. He gave her the title "Mumtaz Mahal" and later the title of Chief Empress. Mumtaz bore her husband fourteen children, and died while giving birth of their 14th child in 1631.
Shah Jahan had three wives, but only had one child with his first and third wife as tradition expected. He showed his other wives little attention.
It is said the Shah grieved in solitude for a year after Mumtaz's death. She was temporarily entombed in a gold casket until her mausoleum, the Taj Mahal, was built 22 years later.

In 1917 Nicholas was forced to abdicate, and was put under house arrest with Alexandra and their children. The following year, the Bolsheviks killed the entire family.

The story is that Roman Emperor Claudius persecuted Christians. He also restricted marriage of young men because he felt unwed men made better soldiers. Priest Valentine ignored the decree, and married Christian couples. He was arrested for being a Christian and for performing marriages.
In 269 AD, Valentine was sentenced to a three part execution: beating, stoning, and finally decapitation.
