When he discovered that Bathsheba was pregnant with his child, David arranged for Uriah to die in battle. You can find the story in 2 Samuel chapter 11.

In Genesis chapter 34, we read that Dinah was raped by Shechem the Hivite. When her father found out he allowed Shechem to marry her with the stipulation that he be circumcised first.

Another woman with her own book, Esther risked her life by going to see the King Xerxes without being summoned; luckily he held out his sceptre to her and showed that she was in favour.
