Canseco struck out a record 1942 times in his career mostly with the Oakland Athletics. The top left handed batter in the 20th Century was Reggie Jackson with an outrageous 2597 strikeouts.
2. What jersey number did Jackie Robinson wear?

The number 42 of Robinson was retired by Major League Baseball. There are only two teams currently using the number 42. When that player retires or leaves the team, it will no longer be used for that team.

When baseball was baseball, in the late 1800s Pud Galvin and Will White both set the record for starting 75 games in a season. White was the first in 1879 and Galvin followed up on this one in 1883. Galvin the following year started in 72 games.

Answer: Walter Johnson

Johnson holds the record of 110 career shutouts throughout 21 seasons all with Washington. He retired with a career record of 417-279.

Feller walked an incredible 208 batters in 1938. The great Nolan Ryan walked 202 batters in 1974 but pitched 50 more innings compared to Feller.

Answer: Joe Jackson

Although known for wearing the White Sox uniform, in 1911 Jackson played for the Indians and batted .408 while hitting only 7 home runs. The great Tris Speaker's highest average with the Indians was .389 in 1925.
