"Toto" wasn't even going to make the squad, but fortunately enough for his country he scored six goals to win the Golden Boot and lead Italy to 3rd place.

Andreas Brehme helped Germany to the World Cup in 1990, while Jurgen Klinsmann still played in France 98 along with Lothar Matthäus.
