Answer: American Samoa

The 9th-11th of April 2001 was a good couple of days for the Australian soccer team. On the 9th they had beaten Tonga 22-0.
2. Which is the oldest English Football League club?

Answer: Notts County

Notts County were formed in 1862, Stoke City in 1863, Nottingham Forest in 1865 and Chesterfield in 1866. The Football league was formed in 1888.
3. Who did Blackburn Rovers beat 6-1 in the 1890 F.A Cup Final?

Answer: Sheffield Wednesday

This was a terrible thrashing. However Derby County managed to do worse when they lost 6-0 to Bury in the 1903 Final.
4. When Zinedine Zidane transferred in 2001, he went from where to where?

Answer: Juventus to Real Madrid

Zidane cost Real Madrid 47.7m pounds, which at the time was a world record fee. Real Madrid is historically Spain's most succesful club.
5. Where did David Platt start his League career?

Answer: Crewe Alexandra

David Platt was an England international in the late 1980's and early 90's. It was Dario Gradi who spotted him and signed him for Crewe, after he left Manchester United as an unsuccessful apprentice.
6. Which town was Bryan Robson born in?

Answer: Chester le Street

Bryan Robson played for both Manchester United and England. He was a phenomenal player but proved less succesful as the manager of Middlesbrough.
7. Which former Wimbledon footballer became an actor and starred in the film "Snatch"?

Answer: Vinnie Jones

Jones also appeared in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Gone in 60 Seconds." In Britain he has appeared in adverts for Bacardi.

Answer: Gary Lineker

Gary Lineker became a sports presenter after retiring from football. All four answers played for England.

Answer: West Ham United

West Ham won the F.A Cup three times in the twentieth century. The years were 1964,1 975 and 1980.
10. Which two managers managed two different teams to the English league title during the twentieth century

Answer: Brian Clough and Kenny Dalgleish

Clough achieved this with Derby County and Nottingham Forest. Dalgleish did it with Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers.
