The Jack Adams is given to the NHL coach who is best attributed to the success of their team. The coach is elected by the NHL Broadcaters Association. The award is named after former Red Wings Coach, Jack Adams.
2. Who won the Jack Adams in the 2001?

Answer: Bill Barber

Barber won the award behind the bench of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2001-02 season. Despite being a long-time player with the organization, a member of their two-time Stanley Cup winning team in the 70's, and a member of the hockey hall of fame, Barber was fired by former teammate and G.M. Bob Clarke, due to complaints from players.

Answer: Minnesota North Stars

Bowman started his career with St. Louis from 1968 to 1970. In 1971, Bowman became coach of the Montreal Canadians, winning 5 Stanley Cups. From 1981 to 1987, he was behind the Buffalo Sabres bench. After a brief retirement, he returned as a player-director in Pittsburgh in 1991.

In 1992, he became coach, and guided them to a 2nd Stanley Cup. From 1993 until 2002, Bowman was head coach of the Detroit Red Wings and won three Cups for the MotorCity.

During the 1992-93 season, Keenan left Chicago to go behind the bench for the Rangers.
