1. Y.E. Yang

Answer: 2009

Y.E. Yang won the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine by a three-stroke margin over second-place finisher Tiger Woods. Yang became the first player born in Asia to win a major. Paired with Woods, Yang started the final round two shots behind but managed to beat a faltering Tiger during the closing holes. Of note, this was the first time that Woods was unable to win a major when leading after the third round. Y.E. Yang is South Korean and turned professional in 1996.
2. Jimmy Walker

Answer: 2016

Jimmy Walker captured the 2016 PGA Championship held at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey. He edged out Jason Day by one stroke and it marked his first victory in a major. Walker led this event from start to finish and scored under par in each round while maintaining a narrow advantage throughout. Jimmy Walker is an American and joined the PGA Tour in 2005.

He won his first PGA tournament in 2013 during his 188th attempt.
3. Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley won the 2011 PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club in a playoff over Jason Dufner. The final round saw Dufner squander a four-shot lead with three holes to play, resulting in a tie. During the three-hole aggregate playoff Bradley won by a single stroke to capture his first major victory. Bradley became the first player to capture a major using a belly putter. Keegan Bradley is a tour pro from Vermont and was awarded the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2011.
4. Jason Day

Answer: 2015

Jason Day was victorious at the 2015 PGA Championship contested at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin. He bested runner-up Jordan Spieth by three strokes to win his first major title. Day was solid all week scoring in the 60s every round, enabling him to repel all challengers. Jason Day is an Australian and has competed on both the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia.

He won the Mark H. McCormack Award in 2016.
5. Padraig Harrington

Padraig Harrington won the 2008 PGA Championship held at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan. Harrington finished ahead of second-place finishers Ben Curtis and Sergio Garcia by a margin of two strokes. The victory was the third major for Padraig Harrington. Trailing the leader by six shots after the second round, Harrington fired a pair of 66s on the weekend to overcome the deficit. Padraig Harrington is from Ireland and has an excess of thirty professional wins in his career.
6. Brooks Koepka

Brooks Koepka won the 2018 PGA Championship played at Bellerive Country Club in Missouri by a two-stroke margin over runner-up Tiger Woods. The victory was his first at the PGA Championship and the third major of his career. He had a good week scoring under 70 in each round and held off a hard-charging Woods down the stretch. Koepka joined the PGA Tour in 2014 and was named PGA Tour Player of the Year in 2018.
7. Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy prevailed at the 2012 PGA Championship held at Kiawah Island in South Carolina. He won by a massive eight strokes over runner-up David Lynn and it was his second major victory. McIlroy had a three-shot lead after three rounds and fired a final round 66 to pull away from the field. Two years later, he won the PGA Championship again at Valhalla with a one-shot margin over Phil Mickelson in a much closer contest.
8. Martin Kaymer

Answer: 2010

Martin Kaymer won the 2010 PGA Championship contested at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin to capture his first major title. The tournament required a three-hole aggregate playoff in which he prevailed over Bubba Watson. During the playoff Kaymer edged out Watson by one shot. Of note, Dustin Johnson triple-bogeyed the final hole when leading to deny himself the opportunity to win. Kaymer is a German golfer and has played on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour.
9. Justin Thomas

Answer: 2017

Justin Thomas won his first major at the 2017 PGA Championship held at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina. He managed a two-shot victory over a trio of golfers including Francesco Molinari, Louis Oosthuizen and Patrick Reed. Thomas shot a final round 68 to prevail during a tightly contested event in which several players had the opportunity to win. Justin Thomas capped his very successful year by winning the FedEx Cup.
10. Jason Dufner

Answer: 2013

Jason Dufner triumphed during the 2013 PGA Championship contested at Oak Hill in Rochester. Dufner's margin of victory was two strokes over Jim Furyk and it was his first major title. His steady play throughout the event and a final round of 68 enabled him to outlast Furyk down the stretch. Jason Dufner is an American who turned pro in 2000 and has played on both the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour.
