In game five of the 1995 ALDS, the Yankees scored the lead-taking run in the top of the 11th inning, but Edgar Martinez, with two runners on base, hit a double scoring Joey Cora to tie followed by Ken Griffey Jr. who beat the throw from the outfield to win the game 6-5.
