Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What tells Ralph Wiggum to burn things?

Answer: leprechaun

We found this out in season nine's "This Little Wiggy" when Marge forced Bart to befriend Ralph. Ralph was showing Bart around his yard, and he said "This is my swing set and this is my sandbox. I'm not allowed to go in the deep end. That's where I saw the leprechaun.

He tells me to burn things." At the end of the episode, the leprechaun appeared on Ralph's shoulder and told him to burn down the Simpsons' house and all the Simpsons in it.
2. An inanimate ___________ _____ once beat out Homer for "Worker of the Week".

Answer: carbon rod

In the fifth season episode "Deep Space Homer", Homer was sure that he was going to win "Worker of the Week" because everyone else at the power plant had already won it. Instead, Mr. Burns bestowed the honour upon an inanimate carbon rod. Upon hearing about this, Bart asked Homer: "Wow, did you actually get to see the rod?!" Later in this episode, Homer was sent into outer space on an "average Joe" mission with NASA. Even though Homer accomplished this impressive feat, the inanimate carbon rod went on to make the cover of "Time" magazine.
3. What was the name of God's unicorn?

Answer: Gary

In season ten's "Simpsons Bible Stories", the Simpson family members all fell asleep during Rev. Lovejoy's boring sermon and had dreams in which they starred in different Bible stories. In Marge's dream, her and Homer were Adam and Eve living in the Garden of Eden. Adam (Homer) ate fruit off of the forbidden tree and blamed it on Eve (Marge), so God (Ned Flanders) banished Eve from Eden. Adam was lonely without her, so he came up with a plan to sneak her back in.

The plan involved Gary the unicorn drilling a tunnel for Eve to crawl through. Gary died in the process and when God found out he was so furious he banished both Adam and Eve.
4. In "Dead Putting Society", what did Homer name Bart's golf club?

Answer: Charlene

In this second season episode, Bart and Todd Flanders squared off in miniature golf tournament. This turned into a bigger feud between Homer and Ned, both of whom tried to help their sons win. Homer told Bart he had to name his putter. Bart first named it 'Mr. Putter', and then Homer said it had to be a girl's name, so Bart chose 'Mom'. Homer was frustrated and said "Your putter's name is 'Charlene'!"
5. What relationship do Kang and Kodos have?

Answer: brother and sister

Kang and Kodos are the aliens who make several appearances on "The Simpsons" over the years. The first episode they were in was the first "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween episode, in season two. Kang is the male and Kodos is the female. They claimed to come from Rigel VII and speak 'Rigellian', which by extreme coincidence (they said) sounds identical to English.

In "Treehouse of Horror IX", Kang was revealed to be Maggie's biological father (though no further references are made to this in the series).
6. What was "Furious D's" original name?

Answer: Duncan

In the eleventh season episode "Saddlesore Galactica", Bart and Homer adopted a horse named Duncan from the state fair. He was very fast and they tried to enter him in races at the Springfield Downs. He lost his first race because he was too intimidated by the other horses and didn't even leave his stall. Homer decided that Duncan needed more attitude and made him over as "Furious D", complete with a leather jacket, a rainbow-coloured mane, and a nose ring (which was actually Lisa's bracelet).
7. What did Homer name the football that Ned gave him in "Homer Loves Flanders"?

Answer: stitchface

In this fifth season episode, Homer really wanted to go to a local football game and Ned had an extra ticket, so Homer reluctantly went with him. It turned out that Ned knew the star of the football team, and convinced him to give Homer the game ball. Homer loved the ball so much, that when he got home and placed it on the mantle, he said "Now I have four children. You will be called... Stitchface."
8. According to Bart in "Bart Sells His Soul", who is not real?

Answer: Michael Jackson

In the seventh season episode, Bart played a prank in church and Milhouse gave him up to Rev. Lovejoy, after Lovejoy said that unless someone told him who was responsible for the prank, their souls would be damned. While Bart and Milhouse were cleaning the church organ, Bart tried to convinced Milhouse that a soul isn't real, "it's just something that adults make up to scare kids, like the Boogeyman, or Michael Jackson."
9. What did Ralph think Jesus had?

Answer: wheels

This was just a small part in the sixth season episode "Bart's Girlfriend". A scene was set at Sunday School, and the Sunday School teacher was looking over Ralph's shoulder while he was drawing and said "Um, Ralph, Jesus didn't have wheels."
10. Which 'character' (inanimate object) giggled and said things like "Don't ask me, I'm just a girl"?

Answer: Malibu Stacy

Malibu Stacy was Lisa's favourite doll from the beginning of the series, and in the fifth season episode "Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy", a new talking Malibu Stacy doll was introduced. Lisa was very excited at first, but quickly became appalled at the totally non-feminist things Malibu Stacy said.

Some of Stacy's other quotes include "Let's bake some cookies for the boys" and "Thinking too much gives you wrinkles." Lisa went on to create her own talking doll, Lisa Lionheart, but it was overshadowed by the next 'new' Malibu Stacy doll, with a new hat.
