Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "We really did all want to live in a yellow submarine."

Answer: President Bartlet

President Bartlet was excited about Galileo V and told C.J to say it as she would become excited. However, he maintained that she didn't say it correctly making C.J somewhat annoyed.
2. "Nobody likes a know-it-all!"

Answer: C.J

C.J recommended to the President that he didn't answer any of the questions during the televised classroom but at the rehearsal he read a question out and answered it, "Katie, sixth grade, Green Oaks Junior High School, Austin, Texas, asks, "How old is the planet Mars?" That's a great question, Katie.

The planet Mars is 4.6 billion years old." C.J told him not to show off and he replied smartly, "Yes, God forbid, that while talking to 60,000 public school students, the President should appear smart!" The President goes on to answer another question, "Stevie, fourth grader, PS 31, Manhattan, asks, "What is the temperature on Mars?" Well, Stevie, if one of our expert panelists were here, they would tell you the average temperature ranges from 15 degrees to minus 140." C.J observes, "That happens to be wrong.

It ranges from 60 to minus 225" and the President informs her, "I converted it to Celsius in my head." C.J just stares back in dismay.
3. "Think of the whales."

Answer: Leo

Leo informed the President that he would have to go to the Kennedy Center to see the Reykjavik Symphony Orchestra with the Icelandic Ambassador as the President cancelled their meeting. Leo tells the President that he has to go because "Iceland is considering defying the ban on whale hunting, imposed by the International Whaling Commission.

They're in danger of joining Norway and Japan. There's a lucrative international demand for fresh Icelandic mink whale meat." When Leo said, "Think of the whales", the President simply said, "Do they vote?"
4. "I think it's incredible the President's asked the two of us. It's a privilege and we should attack with energy due the moment."

Answer: Sam

Sam was honored that the President had requested that he accompany him to the Kennedy Center to discuss a broader theme for the televised classroom. However, when he heard that Mallory would be there, he became less enthusiastic as he didn't call her after the picture of Laurie and him in the newspaper.
5. "I left her alone cause I think I was freaking her out."

Answer: Margaret

Margaret was looking after the Russian Ambassador to the US while she waited for Leo to arrive. She decided to leave the Ambassador alone because she might have freaked her out and when she tells Leo this, he dryly replies, "It wouldn't surprise me."
6. "Did you leave any wiggle room?"

Answer: C.J

Charlie told C.J that he was him who told the reporter that the President doesn't like green beans. C.J didn't believe it would be a story but it turned out that Portland is a massive producer of green beans and therefore, they may have an electoral problem.
7. "'Cause it's next. For we came out of the cave, and we looked over the hill, and we saw fire. And we crossed the ocean, and we pioneered the West, and we took to the sky. The history of man is hung on the timeline of exploration, and this is what's next."

Answer: Sam

Mallory teased Sam about Galileo V and wanted to know the reason as to why landing on Mars was so important. Sam gave her an impassioned answer and she teased him saying, "I know...We're supposed to be explorers...I just wanted to hear you talk about it...You get all puffed up."
8. "You don't see the National Organization of Entomologists freaking out."

Answer: Donna

Throughout the episode, Josh and Donna were discussing who to put on the next stamp and Donna couldn't see why Marcus Aquino wasn't a good choice to put on the stamp simply because he advocated Puerto Rico statehood. When Donna said, "You don't see the National Organization of Entomologists freaking out", he dryly replied, "No, but I'd pay good money to see that."
9. "We have, at our disposal, a captive audience of schoolchildren. Some of them don't go to the black board and raise their hand 'cause they think they're gonna be wrong. I think you should say to these kids you think you get it wrong sometimes, you should come down here and see how the big boys do it. I think you should tell them you haven't given up hope, and that it may turn up, but in the meantime, you want NASA to put its best people in the room, and you want them to start building Galileo VI. Some of them will laugh, and most of them won't care, but for some, they might honestly see that it's about going to the blackboard and raising your hand. And that's the broader theme."

Answer: C.J

The President simply replied, "I'll say" to C.J's wise words. She told him that she would be in her office if he needed her.
10. "You said it right that time."

Answer: President Bartlet

President Bartlet told C.J that she said Galileo correctly when she told him to go ahead with the televised classroom unlike at the beginning of the episode when he tormented her. C.J leaves the President alone and he looks up at the sky and softly says, "Talk to us."
