The more successful spin-off was "Frasier" which ran from 1993 to 2004.
4. "Dallas" (1978-1991)

Answer: Knots Landing

"Knots Landing" ran from 1979-93. Both "Dallas" and "Knots Landing" ran 14 seasons and more than 340 episodes each.

The spinoff was set in the same continuity through the first four seasons, but after that the show's split off and never crossed over again.

The reason for that was on "Dallas" Bobby Ewing was killed at that time. In the parent show, that was later wiped out and retconned away. In "Knots Landing" there had already been too many changes to take back, so the two shows split off in their continuity.
5. "Empty Nest" (1988-1995)

Answer: Nurses

"Nurses" ran for 68 episodes over three seasons.

"NCIS" had it's own spin-offs called "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "NCIS: New Orleans".
8. "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" (1970-1977)
