The cast of "My Roanoke Nightmare", between its airing and the filming of "Return to Roanoke", visited the Paleyfest in 2016 to celebrate the successful release of the show and discuss, as a panel, their experiences filming. With "My Roanoke Nightmare" being a ratings phenomenon, most of the cast is eager to bask in the crowd's applause, interact with the fans, and either hint at a second season or put themselves forth to be in it. During the panel, a woman from London gives Lee a hand-drawn picture of herself and Flora.
The same woman later realized, in a YouTube video, that the second season was crass and exploitative. As many discovered, the cast really did die. Lee, she said, never should have gone back.
In another YouTube video, the last remaining pOlk sibling stated that he would kill Lee for what she did.

Answer: Crack'd

An episode of 'Crack'd' took a look at Lee's life before, during, and after the incidents of 'My Roanoke Nightmare' stretching back as far as her marriage to Mason and the birth of her daughter, Flora. Her life, however, would spiral out of control. Millions of Americans, they said, watched as Flora's life took a turn on the 2015 TV show 'My Roanoke Nightmare' where her life was laid bare. District Attorney Mark Philips knew she killed her husband in cold blood, but only circumstantial evidence was present.

They couldn't bring her in until she committed multiple homicides on camera in 'Return to Roanoke'. Then the trial began.

Answer: Marijuana

Mark Philips explained that, during the trial, he knew he had to put Lee behind bars, but the defence had a trick up their sleeve. As Marcus Minear, a toxicology expert, revealed during the trial, the strain of marijuana on the Polk farm was an odd one in that it had hallucinogenic properties; the marijuana was enough for the jury to find her innocent.

She was acquitted of all crimes. Nonetheless, Philips went after Lee for her original crime-- Mason's death-- since she confessed to the murder on camera. To do this, he brought in Flora, and Flora told the truth. On the stand, Lee's attorney asked Flora why she never revealed herself to her parents, and she claimed to feel safer with Priscilla. Sixteen days later , the jury reached their verdict, ultimately splitting the vote until one woman couldn't send Lee to jail based on ghost stories.

Answer: Lana Winters

The murder trials of Lee Harris captured the minds and hearts of an entire nation, and as such, reporter Lana Winters decided to come out of retirement to host a special interview, 'A Conversation With Lee Harris', with the woman herself. She begun by asking Lee how she's doing, and Lee explained the troubled emotions she's had, especially since her relationship with Flora has not been to her liking. Mason's family decided to fight for custody of Flora, citing that she was not a good influence on the child considering everything that had happened in the past years.

This aside, Lana wondered why Lee came for the interview in the first place, having turned down so many others. Lee explained that it was because of what Ms. Winters went through, having killed her own son-- Bloodyface.

Answer: Lot

With the truth of why she came to Lana Winters out in the open, Lee hoped that her daughter would watch the special and hear what she needed to know about everything that had gone on; she refused to speak to Lee after the acquittal. Lee told her the truth: she loves her and she's never going to give up until they're back together again. That's when Lana asked Lee where Flora was; she was declared missing by her grandparents an hour before they started filming their special.

As Lee asks for answers, the rattling of an assault weapon was heard in the hallway as Lot Polk stormed into the room seeking vengeance. Lana Winters tried to negotiate and talk him off his ledge, but he managed to knock her out with the butt of his gun before the police came in and took him down.

Answer: Cricket

On November 18th, an episode of 'Spirit Chasers' aired, and it bore a number of important ties to 'My Roanoke Nightmare'. Despite the deaths of some of their crew members, it was allowed to be distributed. Joined by Ashley Gilbert, who played Cricket on 'My Roanoke Nightmare', the crew attempted to record spectral visitations on the cycle of the blood moon.

Despite a large fence designed to keep out the riff-raff eager to film the site on the nights of the blood moon, the crew forced their way in, set up their thermal-imaging cameras, and got exactly what they bargained for.

As son as night fell, they immediately began tracking paranormal activity.

Answer: Two weeks

The 'Spirit Chasers' crew headed through the house finding artifacts of the old settlers scattered amongst the wreckage of 'Return to Roanoke'. As a shadow passed by the window, the crew turned to find none other than Lee walking through the house. She explained that Flora went missing two weeks ago, and while she'd rather not be back at the Roanoke house, she knew that Priscilla might have come to reclaim her daughter.

She also explained that the crew of 'Spirit Chasers' were idiots for considering to go to the house in the first place. That's when a cabinet fell from the wall. Looking back on the thermal imaging camera, it appeared to be one of the Chens.

At the same moment, a crew member captured Priscilla's laughter on a tape deck in the master bedroom. Lee warned them, they could still get out; they did not leave.

Answer: True

Lee and the crew headed up to the top floor of the house to find Priscilla, but the chaos commenced soon after. As Lee headed into a bedroom, most of the crew was met by the Piggy-Man in the upstairs hallway. Ashley, trying to shout 'Croatoan', was killed almost instantly.

The others ran downstairs; one was captured by a Chen. While everyone else ran outside, another two were killed by the butcher. More made it to the gates of the property to find the police already waiting for them, but all of them were killed by a volley of arrows shot from the direction of the blood moon. Only Lee survived, appearing on the thermal cameras, searching for Flora. Soon, she appeared.

Answer: Priscilla

Soon, the news reported that a 'Roanoke House Under Siege'. After fourteen hours, Lee, as the news had claimed, had been holding her daughter and another girl hostage in the Roanoke house without negotiation.
In a related report, Lana Winters was interviewed and claimed that Lee would never give up. Despite everything bad that had happened to her, it was always about Flora.

In the top floor of the house, Lee and Flora talk about their time in the woods. Priscilla, Flora says, showed her things. Lee tells explains why she killed Mason; she could never live up to the expectations she had for her family, and Mason tried to take her away. Lee apologizes but says she had to do it to keep her daughter going. She suggests that they can leave, but Flora says Priscilla needs her.

Answer: Lee

When it becomes clear that Flora won't leave the house, instead intending to help Priscilla, Lee decides that she can take the fall for her daughter, stay at the Roanoke house, and take her place. She can protect Priscilla as a mother. Flora can visit when it's not the blood moon.
That night, the police respond when the Roanoke house begins to smoke and erupt into flames. Flora emerges from the wreckage.
Upstairs, Lee hands Priscilla a handgun and says it's going to be okay. The girl pulls the trigger and the house explodes.
Flora waves goodbye to her daughter as the police car drives away.
In the distance, a procession of torch-bearing settlers converges on the Roanoke house, still surrounded by emergency services.
