Answer: Frazier Thomas

Frazier Thomas was the creator, writer, producer and host of the show. He also wrote nine children's books. "The Garfield Goose and Friends" show ran for 24 seasons. In 1962 Frazier also became the host of "Family Classics" until his death in 1985. On the "Family Classics" set, Frazier had a picture of Garfield Goose hanging on the wall behind him.
2. What was Garfield's nephew's name?

Answer: Christmas (Chris)

Christmas Goose was actually Gar without his crown wearing a freshman beanie.
3. What was the name of the rabbit puppet?

Answer: Romberg Rabbit

Romberg was Gar's main side-kick puppet. He played straight man to Gar's antics. Romberg also never talked. He would lean over and whisper to whomever to get his message across.

Macintosh Mouse was in charge of the viewer mail. Once or twice a week he would bring up mail for Frazier to read to the television audience.

The animation was simplistic and the characters mouths were of real people. "Clutch Cargo" is an animated adventure cartoon series which first aired in 1959. The animation wasn't great but the stories were good. Clutch's two companions were a boy named Spinner and his dog Paddle Foot. One of Clutch's friends, Swampy, was voiced by Hal Smith who plays town drunk Otis Campbell on "The Andy Griffith Show".

The cartoon is based on a song written by Stuart Hamblen. "Garfield Goose and Friends" always showed this cartoon a few times every Christmas season.
