Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. It doesn't take long to find something to do upon entering Jellyfish Fields, as Squidward is, in his own words, "balled up in excruciating pain." What happened to Squidward here?

Answer: He got stung by a jellyfish

Immediately upon first entering Jellyfish Fields, a cutscene will play where Squidward is yelling in fright, fleeing from a robot in pursuit. As he runs from the robot, he bumps into a single jellyfish and quickly gets surrounded by a small swarm of jellyfish. One of them stings him, sending him flying and groaning in pain. It is up to SpongeBob to figure out how to heal Squidward.
2. In order to heal Squidward, SpongeBob must venture to a part of Jellyfish Fields to gather something. What does SpongeBob need in order to heal Squidward?

Answer: King Jellyfish jelly

While there are numerous side quests along the way, this one ends up being the central focus of venturing throughout Jellyfish Fields.
3. What is the name of the area SpongeBob must reach in order to find the cure to Squidward's ailment?

Answer: Spork Mountain

Spork Mountain is predictably at the far end of the map from where SpongeBob and Squidward stand. It is a rather high climb to the top, for SpongeBob to heal his friend.
4. In order to obtain the cure to Squidward's ailment, SpongeBob must defeat someone who is guarding this cure. This is the first boss fight of the game. Who must SpongeBob defeat here?

Answer: King Jellyfish

King Jellyfish, upon noticing SpongeBob watching him shower, is angered and lashes out at him in retaliation. Upon being defeated, King Jellyfish will tip his crown and toss SpongeBob a tub of King Jellyfish jelly to heal Squidward with.
5. SpongeBob can't quite make his way over to help Squidward by himself, so he needs the aid of his best friend. Who joins SpongeBob as an optional, and often necessary, playable character in Jellyfish Fields?

Answer: Patrick

Patrick is needed in order to traverse through Jellyfish Caves, as his strength and ability to utilize Throw Fruit is needed to bypass a few gates and challenges within the Caves. Patrick is also needed to acquire a couple of Golden Spatulas in side quests issued by Plankton and Mrs Puff throughout the map.
6. When Squidward is finally healed, what does he reward SpongeBob with?

Answer: A Golden Spatula

As a reward for basically completing the level, healing Squidward will reward the player with a crucial Golden Spatula. Squidward issues this to SpongeBob while he haphazardly thanks SpongeBob for the King Jellyfish jelly.
7. While the "Fodder" robot is a mainstay, a rather basic enemy, there are two other different robotic enemies on this map. One of them is "Ham-mer". While clearly, this robot wields a large hammer, what is the hammer itself made out of?

Answer: Ham

This is a robot which will chase SpongeBob or Patrick and attempt to crush them with its ham hammer. While it does have a lengthy reach and a fairly quick attack, it can be defeated with a single hit, and its attacks are quite easily telegraphed since all it does is rush straight for SpongeBob or Patrick and swing at them all the time. Thus, it is a pretty easy opponent to defeat.
8. One of the other "special" robots introduced on Jellyfish Fields is a robot called "Tar-Tar" who is a projectile-based robot. What does Tar-Tar shoot at the player?

Answer: Tartar Sauce

This robot has an endless supply of deadly Tartar Sauce it can shoot from a fairly long range. It is a significantly trickier enemy to defeat because it can easily shoot SpongeBob or Patrick, even while they are airborne, and out-range whatever they can counter with.

It also fires five shots at a time which are all fast and very accurate, so it can be difficult to dodge these shots from anywhere on the field. Thankfully, the robot has to take a moment to reload after firing its five shots, so if the player is able to dodge all five shots, the robot is usually done for then and there.
9. While the journey to help Squidward is the main focus of the map, SpongeBob and his friend can come across numerous other characters which request their help, giving them a quest of their own. Which of the following is an example?

Answer: Mrs Puff

Mrs Puff will ask Patrick for help. Her request is that she had located a Golden Spatula, and was going to presumably give it to SpongeBob, but a swarm of robots stole the Golden Spatula and threw it in the lake. Patrick must defeat these robots, then throw them at a series of five random fountains in the lake. Doing this will somehow cause the lake levels to dramatically decrease, enabling Patrick to then safely retrieve the Golden Spatula.
10. Jellyfish Fields is the map that introduced Goo. Can SpongeBob or any of his playable friends travel through, or make use of, Goo?

Answer: No

Stepping in Goo will cause whichever character the player is using to loudly yell out in pain, sending them flying back to land. If a player steps in Goo three times in rapid succession, their character will sink and drown. Stay away from the Goo.
