1. What gem is needed for Garnet to summon Ramuh?

Answer: Peridot

You meet Ramuh when the Gargant crashes into Pinnacle Rocks. He puts Garnet to a test before becoming her new Eidolon.

2. Which Eidolon does Queen Brahne summon to attack Lindblum?

Answer: Atomos

This happens just after Pinnacle Rocks. Garnet, Zidane and Vivi make it out just in time to see Atomos attack the huge city.

3. Which Gate sells the famous bundt cake?

Answer: South Gate

It's called the famous South Gate Bundt Cake, which Cinna really seems to enjoy. You come here with Garnet and Steiner, and soon team up with Marcus to save Blank. There are no East or West Gates.

4. Which enemy in Cleyra's Trunk teaches Quina the White Wind ability when eaten?

Answer: Zuu

Enemies have to be very low on HP before Quina can eat them. White Wind is helpful here, since your group is missing a healer at this point.

5. Which town is known as the City of Nobles?

Answer: Treno

There is so much to do here! There's an auction, a card tournament, a mini battle arena and more! This is also where Queen Stella trades you items for any Stellazios you've collected.

6. In the Black Cat Synthesis Shop, there is a black mage sitting on a high platform. What is this mage's number?

Answer: 32

All of the black mages have numbers instead of names. Number 288 was the one who told Vivi about the cemetery, and figured that the mages stop moving after one year.

7. What item do you need to cure Blank?

Answer: Supersoft

The Supersoft is Blank's only hope to depetrify. You eventually get this from Dr. Tot. He tutored Garnet when she was little.

8. What summon gem do you receive on your first trip to the Iifa Tree?

Answer: Ruby

The Ruby lets Eiko summon Carbuncle, who casts reflect on your party. This happens after Eiko breaks the seal around the base of the giant tree.

9. Eiko and Garnet can summon the same Eidolons.

Answer: False

Nope, they each have different Eidolons. Garnet can call Shiva, Ramuh, Ifrit, Atomos, Leviathan, Odin, Bahamut and Ark. Eiko can summon Fenrir, Phoenix, Madeen and Carbuncle.

10. Garnet is made Queen immediately after Brahne's death.

Answer: False

The coronation is actually scheduled three days after the death of Brahne. Your group splits up while in Alexandria, and Zidane is really bummed out.

11. Which of these Stellazios is found in Alexandria?

Answer: Leo

This one can be found in the tower to the left of the castle. Search the room with the statue of Neptune.

12. After Garnet loses her voice, her actions in battle are affected.

Answer: True

Garnet will not perform half of the commands you enter. A message on the top of the screen says "Dagger can't concentrate". It is only temporary, though.

13. What is the name of the ship that Regent Cid stole from Alexandria?

Answer: Blue Narciss

You use this ship to get to the Outer Continent, just after the attack on Alexandria. The Blue Narciss can dock at any beach on the world map.

14. Which Eidolon saves the castle when Bahamut attacks Alexandria?

Answer: Alexander

Kuja sends Bahamut to destroy Alexandria, but Eiko and Garnet call forth Alexander. This massive Eidolon wraps his wings around the castle, then sends a devastating attack on Bahamut.

15. Before looking for Kuja with the Blue Narciss, where does your group stop first?

Answer: Black Mage Village

Mage number 288 is reluctant to talk at first, but he eventually says the other mages followed Kuja. Apparently Kuja has told the mages that he can extend their life span.

16. You can find Kuja's Desert Palace in a sand pit with puffs and wisps coming out of it.

Answer: False

The Desert Palace is in the only pit without wisps and puffs. You can find the sand pits just off the Falstead Coast.

17. What does Kuja want Zidane to retrieve in exchange for his friends' lives?

Answer: Gulug Stone

Kuja sends Zidane and a party of his choosing to Oelivert to find the stone. There is an anti-magic force field around Oelivert, so leave your magic users behind.

18. Zorn and Thorn will fly the group to the Forgotten Continent to find Oelivert. Where do they drop Zidane off?

Answer: Blairsurpass Plains

Oelivert is actually in the Seaways Canyon, but Zidane has to walk a bit to get there. This can be tough since you have no healers. Luckily, Zorn and Thorn run a medicine shop.

19. What rare card can you find in Kuja's room in the Desert Palace?

Answer: Namingway

After Zidane returns from Oelivert, Kuja invites him into his room. Search thoroughly before leaving, it's hard to miss and it's a great card!

20. Which of these cannot be stolen from the boss Meltigemini?

Answer: Gaia Gear

The ability Antibody is very important here, since Meltigemini casts venom. Also, be sure to have a healthy stock of Vaccines to counter virus.

21. Which Moogle can you find in Ispen's Castle?

Answer: Kumool

Kumool is the only Moogle in the entire castle. Noggy is in Daguerro, and Moolan and Mogtaka are both in Mt. Gulug.

22. How many items can you find in Terra on the way to Bran Bal?

Answer: Seven

You can find the a Coronet, Dragon Wrist, Elixir, Remedy, Demon's Vest, Mythril Racket and a Minerva's Plate. Of course, some of the items are off the beaten path, so search thoroughly!

23. What is Steiner's first name?

Answer: Adelbert

He goes by his last name throughout the game. He's rarely called Adelbert, and you can only change his surname.

24. There are Moogles in Memoria.

Answer: False

Moogles have been replaced by save globes. The globes also allow you to switch party members in and out.

25. Who adopts Eiko at the end of the game?

Answer: Regent Cid

You can see Eiko and her new parents riding the lift in Lindblum. Regent Cid melts when Eiko calls him "Father".
