Answer: Top Spin

Shadow Man is one of the eight robot masters created by Dr. Wily in "Mega Man 3". The game was first released by CAPCOM for the NES in September, 1990. Shadow Man is designed to look and act like a ninja. His signature weapon, the Shadow Blade, is based on a shuriken (a sharp star shaped projectile). Shadow Man is one the more difficult of the "Mega Man 3" robot masters to defeat without the aid of his main weakness which is Top Man's weapon, Top Spin.
2. The video game "Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire" is set between which two "Star Wars" films?

Answer: "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi"

In 1996, a science fiction author named Steve Perry was hired by Lucasfilm to write a "Star Wars" novel that would be set between the second film "The Empire Strikes Back" and the third film "Return of the Jedi". The novel introduced an original character named Dash Rendar.

He was hired to help find and rescue Han Solo, who had been frozen in carbonite at the end "The Empire Strikes Back". The book was heavily promoted by Lucasfilm, which included toys, posters, comics and a video game which was released for the Nintendo 64 in December, 1996.

The game would be ported to PC about a year later.
3. How many bosses must you defeat in "Shadow of the Colossus"?

Answer: Sixteen

He pleads with a spirit named Dormin to bring her back to life, but he tells Wander that it will be done only if he can manage to defeat sixteen colossi (giant creatures made of stone). Each colossus has a unique way of defeating it which is intended to be first discovered through trial and error along with the aid of Wander's sword.
4. What is the name of Black Shadow's machine in the "F-Zero" racing series?

Answer: Black Bull

Black Shadow made his franchise debut in "F-Zero X", which was first released for Nintendo 64 in 1998. He is a large muscular man that looks like an evil version of Batman with bull horns. Black Shadow's racing machine is named Black Bull, which is all black with a red trim in its default colors and wears the number 30. Black Bull has a grade A body, which makes it good at ramming other vehicles.

It also has grade A grip, which gives it good maneuverability at high speeds. One of the vehicle's weaknesses is its lack of boost power, which is listed as grade E.
5. In the game "White Shadows", you control a young girl with the head of what type of animal?

Answer: Bird

"White Shadows" was released in December, 2021 for PS5, XBX/S and PC. It was published by Monokel, an independent game company based out of Germany. In "White Shadows", the player takes control of a young girl with the head of a bird (raven). The game is a short puzzle platformer with a plot that focuses on the topics of racism and social injustice. "White Shadows" seems to take a lot of inspiration from George Orwell's famous novel "Animal Farm".
6. What is the name of the ancient city Lara Croft is searching for in "Shadow of the Tomb Raider"?

Answer: Paititi

"Shadow of the Tomb Raider" was first released in September, 2018 for PS4, XB1 and PC. The legend of Paititi is not exclusive to the game as there have been more than a dozen real life expeditions that have been sent to try and find it.
7. Which first person shooter series does a game with the subtitle "Shadow Fall" come from?

Answer: Killzone

"Killzone Shadow Fall" was released for the PS4 in November, 2013. It was the sixth game of the "Killzone" franchise to be released. In the story mode of "Killzone Shadow Fall", the player controls a protagonist by the name of Lucas Kellan, who lives on an Earth-like planet named Vekta. Lucas' father was killed in front of him as a child as they were attempting to flee from an enemy faction that had taken over half of the planet. Lucas is then rescued by a man named Sinclair, who later trains him to become a special operations soldier known in the game as a Shadow Marshal.
8. Who is the boss of the Shadow Temple in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"?

Answer: Bongo Bongo

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was first released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998. In "Ocarina of Time", the Shadow Temple is the fourth of five dungeons that Link must complete while he is an adult. It is located in the graveyard at the back of Kakariko Village and can be accessed after learning the Nocturne of Shadow song from Sheik.

The boss of the dungeon is Bongo Bongo, a large demon with disembodied hands who loves to play the drums.
9. Which black magic spell would be most effective against Shadow enemies in the original "Final Fantasy"?

Answer: FIRE

The original "Final Fantasy" made its debut for the Famicom/NES in Japan in 1987. It would be released in North America three years later. In the game, Shadows are a group of enemies who are classified as undead. They share the same sprite design as Ghosts, Images and Wraiths. Shadows are found mostly in the Marsh Cave, however they can also be encountered in various parts of the overworld. Shadows have the ability to cast Darkness on party members which can lower their accuracy during battle. Undead enemies in "Final Fantasy" are vulnerable to Fire (black magic) and Harm (white magic) spells.
10. Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic's doppelganger, debuted on which Sega console nearly three months after it was discontinued?

Answer: Sega Dreamcast

The Dreamcast was the last console to be manufactured by Sega. It was actually the first console of the sixth generation to be introduced in 1998. However, it could not compete with the Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox, which all debuted a few years later.

The Dreamcast would be discontinued in March, 2001. Shadow the Hedgehog made his debut in "Sonic Adventure 2", which was initially released for the Dreamcast in June, 2001. It would be ported to other consoles later on. Shadow's popularity prompted him to receive a game of his own in 2005, which was released on various non-Sega consoles.
