In 1990, Nintendo released its new console in Japan and South Korea. The console was known as the Super Famicom in Japan and as Super Comboy in South Korea. The console was known as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System when it was released to the other parts of the world between 1991 and 1993.

The Super A'Can was a 16-bit video game console released in 1995. This console was released by the Taiwanese company known as Funtech Entertainment Corporation.
