Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What type of anthropomorphised creature was Mr. Nutz?

Answer: Squirrel

Since he appeared in only two games in total, Mr. Nutz didn't take off quite as well as other anthropomorphised creatures like Sonic the Hedgehog and Yoshi the Dinosaur. Fortunately, for anyone with a squirrel fetish, Conker the Squirrel came into existence in 1997.
2. Which enemy in the Woody Land could not be defeated solely by having Mr. Nutz bounce on its head?

Answer: Porcupine

The porcupines had spiny shells and so weren't entirely accurate representations of the real thing. Mr. Nutz could remove the shells with either a nut or his signature tail whip, and then use either of these attacks or a head bounce to finish the defenceless creature off.
3. A potion could be found atop the Adventure Park's trees. What would consuming it do to Mr Nutz?

Answer: Grant him temporary invincibility

The potion was extremely rare, but useful given how bird-infested the Adventure Park was. Mean Streets had a similar powerup symbolised by a question mark that enabled Mr. Nutz to fly whilst also being invincible.
4. What boss was waiting inside the entrance to the house at the end of the Adventure Park?

Answer: Witch

The witch could be beaten with around 15 bounces to the head. She'd attack in a fixed sequence by flying across the screen, throwing pumpkin-headed men at Mr. Nutz and throwing large numbers of skulls multi-directionally.
5. After drinking the golden cup in the third level, to where did Mr Nutz fall?

Answer: Kitchen Sink

Mr. Nutz found the golden cup at the top of the Foul Kitchen. Drinking it shrunk him enough that he could explore the sink and find a way out to... the Volcano Underpass that just so happened to be beneath the house. Hmm.
6. Once he'd traversed the Volcano Underpass, what other area did Mr. Nutz have to pass through to complete the fourth level?

Answer: Clouds

The Clouds were a welcome break from the difficult Volcano Underpass, although still had their dangers in the form of cloud men, wasps, birds and flying bombers. The music was peppy and optimistic, befitting the level's visual theme of being the light at the end of the tunnel.
7. What body part did Ograum Papas have abnormally great quantities of?

Answer: Eyes

Ograum Papas was the boss at the end of the Clouds stage. He was a giant who stood in front of the cloud-based platform Mr. Nutz stood on. He attacked primarily with hand swipes and by spewing out improbably large numbers of eyes that Mr. Nutz had to avoid being hit by. Mr. Nutz could defeat him by bouncing on his head five times - when the opportunity came.
8. All the Woody Land monsters also appeared in the Mean Streets level.

Answer: False

Most of the enemies in Mean Streets had already been met prior to that stage, with the exception of the two mice-type enemies. Whilst the apples, porcupines and hornets - and tons of them, horrible pests they were - appeared in both the Woody Land and Mean Streets, the fairies, spiders, dandelion men and man-eating plants appeared only in the Woody Land.
9. The flying birds in Ice Scream and Frozen Nutz were carrying which harmful objects?

Answer: Snowballs

The flying birds would drop snowballs when in close proximity to Mr. Nutz. These could be avoided by moving close and baiting them to drop their ball, or by bouncing on them by (typically) bouncing from another enemy's head. All other incorrect answers featured in these levels too, just not in the hands of cute flying birds.
10. Mr. Blizzard wanted to freeze the world, but Mr. Nutz stopped him. What type of creature was Mr. Blizzard?

Answer: Yeti

The whole reason Mr. Nutz took his journey was to beat the yeti Mr. Blizzard and save the world from being plunged into an Ice Age. He attacked with jumps, snowflakes and a blizzard breath. I'm not sure how he got home, if he did; it was physically impossible to return the way he came. Maybe he just died in the frozen wastelands as a forgotten hero.
