Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Containment device for photons

Answer: Vessel of Light

Vessels of Light are given to Link by the three spirits guarding certain provinces of Hyrule; Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru. The spirit guarding the southernmost province, Ordona, does not give one to Link as the area does not become covered by twilight. Link must clear out the twilight in the other areas in order to return Hyrule to its proper state.

He can accomplish this by filling the Vessel with Twilit Parasites which contain light orbs inside of them. Once all three are filled, you will not need to encounter twilight again, excluding that surrounding Hyrule Castle.
2. Urban area located within the heavens

Answer: City in the Sky

The City in the Sky is the seventh dungeon of the game, and in order for Link to locate this obscure area, he needs to locate the Oocca Cannon underneath Renado's hut in Kakario Village. This location is home to the Oocca tribe, of which the mysterious dungeon-dwelling creature, Ooccoo, is a part of.

The level contains a shop and one of the two clawshot accessories that will help Link traverse the skyways and complete the game. The area is also home to the evil twilit dragon, the Argorok, which is also the final boss of the area. Once Link finishes this dungeon, he can move on to fight Zant in one of the final areas, the Palace of Twilight.
3. Orb and Metal Links

Answer: Ball and Chain

The Ball and Chain is the unique (and heavy) item found in Snowpeak Ruins, the fifth dungeon of the game. Link needs this in order to 'break the ice' with the harmful twilit icemass Blizzeta in the bedroom of the ruins. This weapon is so powerful and heavy that when Link attempts to walk around with it, he's bogged down by the weight.

In order to run at full speed, put the thing away (sure, it doesn't make too much sense, I mean it's still on you...but it's a solution). The object throws like the Clawshot, so aim and fire away to completely destroy enemies and important structures.
4. Staff that is a territory of the British Commonwealth

Answer: Dominion Rod

The Dominion Rod is the equippable object found within the sixth dungeon, the Temple of Time. When you are in this dungeon, you can defeat the Darknut in the temple's tallest tower and claim this object to take control of an Armos Statue. When you leave the temple though, it will be rendered useless, and you'll need to discover a way to recharge its power before you can head to the seventh dungeon.

The Dominion Rod can be charged in the Hidden Village though it's needed in various other locations around Hyrule in the search for the Oocca Cannon in Kakariko Village.

It has the power to bring owl statues to life.
5. Religious structure of seconds, minutes, or hours

Answer: Temple of Time

The Temple of Time is the sixth dungeon of the game within a large, stonecarved palace from the past. This area will force Link to ascend to a tall tower to claim a prize (and a key) and then descend to the basement for the final showdown against the boss of the area, the Armogohma. Link is somewhat accompanied by Ooccoo during this trip as she is quite adamant on finding her home, the City in the Sky. Once she doesn't find what she wants there, she isn't seen again until you hop into the Oocca Cannon at Lake Hylia on your way to the City in the Sky.

The Temple of Time is featured in many games in the series.
6. Sketch that is able to live and die

Answer: Mortal Draw

The Mortal Draw is one of the seven deadly swordfighting moves taught by the legendary Stalfos swordsman that Link encounters throughout the game. The Mortal Draw is the fifth technique to learn, chronologically, and it enables Link to quickly perform a KO on most enemies without even Z-targeting. Simply move up to the enemy and when prompted, press A. To unlock any hidden skill, find a Howling Stone around Hyrule, play a tune as a wolf, and look for the location of the swordsman.

These hidden sword skills aren't necessary to complete the game, but they're a must for any master swordfighter.
7. Effortless Broth

Answer: Simple Soup

Simple Soup is the first in a series of three soups created by Yeto in Snowpeak Ruins. When you first arrive, this mediocre, yet simple soup will heal you two hearts. By collecting the Ordon Pumpkin and Ordon Goat Cheese from around the dungeon, you can help him create Good Soup and Superb Soup as well, which heal four and eight hearts respectively.

This is quite a good thing to have around, so keep a bottle handy. After all, there are no hearts to be found AT ALL in the Snowpeak Ruins...possibly to symbolize Yeta's twilit transformation.

When you reunite the real, unchanged Yeta with Yeto after defeating Blizzeta, hearts will pour from their embrace in the boss room.
8. Cranium Child

Answer: Skull Kid

The Skull Kid is encountered twice in the game. Both times will be in the Sacred Forest to the east of the Faron Woods. To access this area (both times) you will need to head to the outside of the Forest Temple and use either Rusl's golden cucco or the help of a random monkey to cross the pitfalls.

The Skull Kid will need to learn his lesson by being chased around the forest to a wide grove where you can finally pummel him to a defeat and make your way to the Temple of Time's ruins. During all of this, Skull Kid's helpers, the Puppets, will appear at random times and interfere.
9. Rather Old Tome of the Heavens

Answer: Ancient Sky Book

The Ancient Sky Book is given to Link by Impaz, though you really use it more with Shad, who plans to use it to reveal what's behind the secret passage under Renado's hut in Kakariko Village. Unfortunately, it's of no use to him. However, Link is able to open up the area behind the owl statue with the help of the Dominion Rod. Once you are able to fully power the Dominion Rod and claim the Ancient Sky Characters from around Hyrule (they can be found behind similar owl statues) you will be able to unveil the Oocca Cannon and take it with you to Lake Hylia to be repaired.
10. Clear Liquid Explosives

Answer: Water Bombs

Water Bombs are given to Link by Barnes in Kakariko Village. To obtain these odd creations, Link will need to be well on his way to reaching the Lakebed Temple in Lake Hylia. Before Barnes gives these to you, you need to secure the Zora's Armor by successfully escorting the ill Prince Ralis from Telma's Bar in Hyrule Castle Town to Kakariko Village to be under Renado's Care. Queen Rutela will hand this ancient tunic over to Link as a reward. Following this, Barnes' shop in Kakariko will feature these marvels; thirty Rupees per set of five. Luckily, Barnes will buy back his bombs, so if you don't have a spare Bomb Bag handy (of the three found in the game) you can make some space for these ones.
