Answer: issatsu, nisatsu, sansatsu...

Issatsu, nisatsu, sansatsu...is for counting books and magazines.
Ippon, nihon, sanbon...is for counting long, thin, objects like pencils, fingers, hair strands, bottles, etc.
Ichimai, nimai, sanmai...is for counting flat objects like paper, plates, sticks of gum, etc.
2. How do you count birds?

Answer: ichiwa, niwa, sanwa...

Ittou, nitou, santou...is for counting heads of cattle.
Ippiki, nihiki, sanbiki...is for counting animals.
3. How do you count cups of beverages like tea, beer, water, etc?

Answer: ippai, nihai, sanbai...

Ippai, nihai, sanbai...is for counting beverages as well as bowls of rice and bowls of soup.

Remember, ichimai, nimai, sanmai...is for counting flat objects.

This one is a tricky one. I think it's ippon, nihon, sanbon because the actual film itself is long and thin.
10. How do you count minutes in a day in Japanese?

Answer: ippun, nifun, sanpun...

Ichibyo, nibyo, sanbyo...is for seconds in a minute.
Ichijikan, nijikan, sanjikan...is for hours in a day.
