1. Adrien Brody

Answer: Academy Award (Oscar) (U.S. movies)

Actor Adrien Brody won his second Oscar for Best Actor in "The Brutalist" (2024). Brody plays a Hungarian-Jewish Holocaust survivor who emigrates to the U.S. and struggles to achieve the American dream, while hobbled by his traumatic experiences. Brody won his first Oscar for Best Actor for "The Pianist" (2002), playing a Polish Jew that survived WW2 in his native Warsaw.
2. Hiroyuki Sanada

Answer: Emmy (U.S. television)

Sanada became the first Japanese actor to win a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "Shōgun" (2024). He plays the lead male role, Lord Yoshii Toranaga, a powerful leader in the period when Japan first saw European visitors. Sanada also shared the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series for "Shōgun", the first non-English series to win that award, for serving as producer of some of the episodes.

Some of his other noteworthy roles include "The Last Samurai" (2003) and "The Railway Man" (2013).
3. Daniel Radcliffe

Radcliffe has been nominated for the Grammy (2011, 2014), Emmy (2023, 2024), but of the listed awards has won only the Tony in 2024 for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for "Merrily We Roll Along". That win was also his first Tony nomination. Radcliffe plays one of three close friends that gradually grow apart as they age and pursue careers in the arts; Radcliffe plays a lyricist and playwright, his friends are a novelist and a composer. Radcliffe gained fame for starring as the eponymous hero in the "Harry Potter" movies (2001-2011).
4. Kendrick Lamar

Lamar won a total of five Grammys at the 2025 ceremony for the record and song titled "Not Like Us, including the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. Lamar also won the 2018 Nobel Prize for Music, the first musician in a genre other than jazz or classical to win that prestigious award.
5. Zoe Saldaña

Saldaña won her first Oscar, for Best Supporting Actress, playing the role of a lawyer in the film "Emilia Pérez" (2024). The film is about a Mexican drug cartel leader that tries to leave that life and transition from male to female gender with the help of the lawyer played by Saldaña. Saldaña also had prominent roles in the "Avatar" movies (2009, 2022) and as Nyota Uhura in "Star Trek" (2009).
6. Quinta Brunson

Answer: Emmy (U.S. television)

Brunson is the creator of ABC's comedy series "Abbott Elementary" (2021-), and is also a writer, producer, and actor in the show. For her work on the series, she won an Emmy in 2022 for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and another in 2023 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Brunson plays a perky and loveable 2nd grade teacher in an inner-city school in Philadelphia. Brunson is only the second Black actress to win the Lead Actress in a Comedy Emmy, the first being Isabel Sanford in 1981 for her role in "The Jeffersons".
7. Sean Hayes

Answer: Tony (U.S. theatre)

Hayes was nominated for a Tony in 2010 for the musical "Promises, Promises" and won the 2023 Tony for Best Leading Actor in a Play for "Good Night, Oscar". Hayes' winning performance was as a pianist and humorist, and the story revolves around his appearance on the popular 1950s TV show, "The Tonight Show with Jack Paar". Hayes also won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2000 for "Will and Grace" (1998-2006).
8. Selena Quintanilla-Pérez

Answer: Grammy (U.S. music)

Known professionally by her first name, Selena was an American songwriter and singer dubbed "The Queen of Tejano Music", also known as "Tex-Mex" music. She was tragically murdered by a business manager in 1995 at the age of 23. Her album "Live" won a Grammy in 1994 for Best Mexican/American Album.

In 2021 she received a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, accepted on her behalf by her family.
9. Jessica Chastain

Answer: Academy Award (Oscar) (U.S. movies)

Chastain took home the 2022 Best Actress Oscar for her role as televangelist Tammy Faye Baker in "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" (2021). This was Chastain's first win after being previously nominated as Best Actress for "Zero Dark Thirty" (2012) and Best Supporting Actress for "The Help" (2011).
10. Jeremy Allen White

Answer: Emmy (U.S. television)

White won Emmys in 2023 and 2024 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for the FX/Hulu series "The Bear" (2022-). White plays an accomplished chef who returns to his hometown to run a sandwich shop that his older and recently deceased brother had stayed home to run while "The Bear" left home for bigger things. White's breakthrough role was in the Showtime series "Shameless" (2011-2021). Both series are set in the grittier sections of Chicago, Illinois, and both were labelled as comedies, but also have significant dramatic story lines.
11. David Alan Grier

Answer: Tony (U.S. theatre)

Grier received four Tony nominations (1982, 2010, 2012, 2021), winning in 2021 for Best Featured Actor in a Play for "A Soldier's Play", first written in 1982. The 1984 movie "A Soldier's Story" tells the same story of the murder of a senior enlisted man in a segregated 1940s all-Black unit, and the Black military attorney sent to investigate the crime. Grier had a supporting role in the 1984 movie and played the murdered sergeant in the 2021 play. Both the movie and play are told largely through flashbacks, starting with the arrival of the investigating attorney and the story being told by witnesses as the investigation proceeds. Grier saw great success in the Fox network sketch comedy show "In Living Color" (1990-1994). That show won an Emmy in 1990.
12. Dave Chappelle

Answer: Grammy (U.S. music)

Chappelle won a Grammy in 2025 for Best Comedy Album for "Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer". The album was a recording of a Netflix comedy special and was released as a vinyl record. Chappelle acted in a number of movies in the 1990s and 2000s, and came to fame for his Comedy Central sketch show "Chappelle's Show" (2003-2006). Chappelle won five Emmy awards 2017-2021 and six Grammys for Best Comedy Album from 2018-2025.
