Hannah Abbott was one of Hufflepuff House's most visible students, serving as a prefect and becoming an early member of Dumbledore's Army. Goyle escaped the magical inferno (Crabbe did not) and was still alive at the conclusion of the series.

Outspoken and often unkind, Pansy Parkinson was one of Draco Malfoy's closest allies and rarely passed up an opportunity to mock Harry, Ron, or Hermione. She was a prominent member of the Slytherin social circle and remained firmly in Malfoy's camp throughout their school years.

Her most infamous moment comes during the Battle of Hogwarts, when she calls for Harry to be handed over to Voldemort. Even so, she was among those who lived through the conflict.
