1. Corietta White

"Carrie" was Stephen King's first novel. He published the book in April 1974. "Carrie" was originally written to be a short story for a men's magazine Stephen King was working for at the time.

Corietta "Carrie" White had telekinetic powers she used to punish the bullies at her school and her fanatically religious mother who also bullied her.
2. Dick Hallorann

"The Shining" was written by Stephen King and first published on January 1977.

Dick Hallorann was the chef at the Overlook Hotel where Danny Torrence and his family were staying over the winter. When Danny's father began losing control due to the powers of the hotel, Danny sent Dick a psychic message for help. Dick was able to get Danny and his mom out of the hotel before it burnt down, killing Danny's father, Jack.
3. Charlene McGee

"Firestarter" was written by Stephen King and first published in September 1980.

Charlene "Charlie" McGee was born with the power of pyrokinesis. She and her father stayed on the run during the novel from a group called The Shop that wanted Charlie's power. Charlie's father was killed during their run from The Shop and the novel ended with Charlie walking into "The New York Times" to tell her story.
4. Jud Crandall

"Pet Sematary" was written by Stephen King and first published on November 1983. King wrote the novel when he thought about what would happen to his daughter's dead cat if the cat came back to life. He also incorporated a short story he wrote for a magazine about a boy named Timmy Baterman into the novel.

Jud Crandall is an older man who shows newcomer Dr. Louis Creed another version of the pet cemetery Jud explains that the pet cemetery he is showing Dr. Creed brings animals buried there back to life and he buried his dead dog there as a boy and it came back to life only this time the dog was mean. After Dr. Creed buries his dead son in the cemetery and the boy comes back to life, Jud is killed by the little boy for trying to warn the family.
5. Vera Donovan

Vera Donovan is a character from the Stephen King novel "Dolores Claiborne". It was first published in November 1992.

Dolores was a maid turned care giver for Vera Donovan when Vera developed dementia. Vera died when she fell down the stairs in her home one night. Vera left all her money to Dolores in her will which made people suspicious that Dolores killed Vera. In the end, Dolores donated all the money to the New England Home for Little Wanderers.
6. John Coffey

"The Green Mile" was a serialized novel with all the parts first published in 1996.

John Coffey was a thirty-nine year old man with the unexplained special powers of healing. He was on death row for the assault and murder of two young girls. John was a gentle man who used his power to heal corrections officer Paul Edgecomb and the warden's wife, Melinda Moores. John is executed for a crime he didn't commit, not knowing that he passed some of his power to Paul, Melinda, and a prisoner's pet mouse, Mr. Jingles.
7. Trish

Trish is the protagonist in the Stephen King novel "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon", which was first published in April 1999.

Trish gets lost in the woods while hiking with her mother and brother. Instead of staying where she is, Trish begins wandering around trying to find her way back to her family. While out in the woods hungry and thirsty, Trish begins to hallucinate her favorite Red Sox player, Tom Gordon. Eventually, Trish is rescued by a hunter and taken to the hospital. With her parents by her side, Trish admires the autographed baseball cap from Tom Gordon.
8. Olivia Treadway

Olivia Treadway is a secondary character in the Stephen King novel "Mr. Mercedes", first published in June 2014.

Olivia Treadway commits suicide after learning that Brady Hartsfield, who stole her Mercedes, killed several people when he deliberately ran the vehicle into a group of people. Later it is revealed that Brady set Olivia up to commit suicide by adding audio files to her computer so she could hear sounds of the accident during the day.
9. Clint Norcross

Clint Norcross was a character in the Stephen King novel "Sleeping Beauties", that he wrote with his son, Owen. It was first published in September 2017.

Clint Norcross was a psychiatrist at the Dooling Correctional Institute for Women after he left private practice so he could work with people who had actual problems. Eventually, he saves the lives of all the women by talking "Evie Black" into giving the women the choice to wake up or stay asleep.
10. Nick Majarian

Nick Majarian is a character from the Stephen King novel "Billy Summers", first published in August 2021.

Nick Majarian is a crime boss who pays veteran sniper Billy Summers $1.5 million to kill another hitman. When Billy realizes that Nick is going to have him killed after Billy completes the job, Billy finds Nick, kills his men, and injures Nick.
