It was 1973 and he knew that this song may ruffle some feathers. He didn't even put his name on it. He submitted it as being written by "Marvin Gardens". Yes, the liner notes say that the song was written by a Monopoly property. It was released on "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean".
