The band has even played at the Super Bowl and has had a career lasting five decades. Depeche Mode got their start in 1980. Led by lead singer and band founder, Dave Gahan, the alternative English rock band released major hits including "Personal Jesus", "People Are People", and "Enjoy The Silence". Motley Crue is one of the major bands from the 1980s Hair Metal era. The wild California based rock band was known for their decadence offstage as well as high energy performances on the stage. The original band members include Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and Mick Mars. Weezer is the newest band of the quiz as they got their start in 1982 in California. The alternative rock band was lead by Rivers Cuomo and have multiple hit albums including "Pinkerton" and their self-titled debut album nicknamed "The Blue Album".
