Morticia spent the entire morning gathering toadstools for Gomez's omelette.

After Gomez gives Morticia the policy, he begins playing with the clubs and one lands on his head.

When Gomez comes to, Morticia is the only one around. She tells him that she's his wife and his first question is asking why she's in black. Morticia responds that Gomez always says it looks so becoming on her. Morticia tries to prove that they are married by showing him the insurance policy. He then calls the house a condemned museum.

Answer: Milk

Morticia told Lurch that moose milk would do when Lurch couldn't believe Gomez would ask for milk from a cow.

Answer: Doll

Gomez promises to buy her a golden haired doll that says 'mama', but Wednesday asks why Gomez would punish her by doing that.

Gomez was still having trouble believing he had children with Morticia and when she said Pugsley took after Gomez, he refused to look at himself in the mirror. When Pugsley showed Gomez how well he could wreck the trains, Gomez was upset and took away Pugsley's allowance (once he began giving Pugsley and allowance).

Answer: Morticia on the bed of nails

Uncle Fester's remedy for a headache was for his head to be crushed a bit until there was a popping sound. Lurch was in the iron maiden. Mama was in the pillory (which Gomez mistook for an 'interesting wood carving' until Mama spoke). Mama claimed the pillory was her beauty treatment. Morticia told Mama what was going on and Morticia said she was thinking of putting Gomez on the rack. That's when Gomez began thinking Morticia wanted to kill him.

Answer: Recapture his affection

She sits next to him and tries telling him how she could say one nickname for him and he would turn into a fiery furnace of affection. Then she tells him to kiss her arm, but he thinks that's unsanitary.

Answer: They're so expensive

Gomez says of course they're expensive, but they're worth it to see his wife dressed properly. Morticia is able to deflect a little by saying she needs time to absorb Gomez's generosity and that she will try the dresses on later.

Answer: Thing

Everyone (but Gomez) is gathered to try and figure out what to do. Mama suggests boiling some oil and dipping Gomez's head in it, but that's what she did to cure Gomez's migraine. Thing says to try punching Gomez. Morticia heard about that too from Grandpa Squint's old medical journal, but she could never hurt Gomez.

Answer: Uncle Fester, Lurch, Mama, Pugsley

Uncle Fester hits him in the head first with an Indian club, curing him. Morticia was carrying the dresses he bought and was so happy when (cured) Gomez told her to get rid of them.

Lurch snuck up behind Gomez seated in a chair and smacked him with another Indian club, giving Gomez amnesia again. Morticia came down the stairs with the dresses she was getting rid of. Getting whiplash, he told her to get rid of the horrible black dress. He then said perhaps he was too strict with her and she responded that yes, it wasn't easy being his wife. Gomez then told her to call him "doll boy."

Mama then snuck up behind Gomez as he was reading on the couch, curing him again.

Wednesday told Pugsley that with Gomez ill, he was the head of the family and he had to hit Gomez. While Gomez was sitting in a chair, Wednesday distracted him and Pugsley hit him in the head, giving him amnesia again.

Morticia came in with Gomez's lunch and he instead requested a hotdog with chili, orange pop, and apple pie with cheese.

Answer: Runs into a suit of armor

He was running so quickly to try and get away from Morticia that he ran headfirst into the suit of armor by the front door.

In the final scene, they are burning Gomez's Indian clubs when they realize Uncle Fester now has amnesia (from when Morticia accidentally clubbed Uncle Fester, thinking it was Gomez).
