Answer: Out buying dog food

Anna is asked to take a look at security footage from earlier in the night in an effort to determine who might have invaded her apartment, but what the police find is that no one came in or out. In fact, Dexter was supposed to be in the apartment, but it's clear that he left out the front entrance earlier in the evening, heading out to pick up dog food. He was gone for seventeen minutes; no one else was on the cameras. Dexter notes that he didn't see anything either. He left and saw no one; he came back and found everything that'd happened.

Anna asks that her embryo picture-- the one that was torn up-- not be released anywhere, and the police assure her that all evidence is confidential.

There are a couple of questions the police still have. Firstly, they wonder if it was a prank. After all, their dog didn't bark at the intruder. Secondly, they wonder how Anna got all the lipstick on her hands. She doesn't know; it was a blur. They have to ask if she's on any medication. The progesterone that they found, they suggest, might be having some side effects.

Answer: Vitamin B12

Anna heads out the morning after the break-in and starts seeing things again, starting with the eccentric, red-sunglassed woman who seems to have been following her around in her periphery. She arrives at Siobhan's office to find that a party is being held in her honour as she's been nominated for a Gotham Award-- she might as well be a shoe-in for the Oscars. Siobhan takes a selfie and tells Anna to put it on her Instagram, but it's not the right time. After all, it seems like she has a stalker.

In Siobhan's office, Anna's told to get it together. No one likes the job-- she gets it-- but if Anna wants the Oscar, she has to change her regimen. The next five months are going to be a campaign; she needs to do the Gothams, the Globes, the BAFTAs, SAG, Oscars, all the red carpets. Otherwise, Siobhan says, what are they even doing there? Siobhan hands her a number of vials-- all B12, she claims. And yes, it's safe for the pregnancy.

Together, they'll get Anna the life of her dreams.

Answer: Positive

Anna is sick almost immediately after leaving Siobhan's office. She decides to give a call to Riverside Fertility, and when the receptionist, Cora, picks up the phone, she's asked about her stalker. Evidently, Anna doesn't remember talking to her about this the previous day. She asks about Ms. Preecher, but Cora brushes the woman off-- she's just a woman against IVF who hands out pamphlets. When Anna asks to speak to Dr. Hill, she can hear him in the background of the call suggesting he doesn't want to pick up the phone. He does, however, and reassures Anna that things will be fine. She can take a pregnancy test fourteen days after the procedure, meaning she has eleven days to go before she'll get the opportunity to see if it worked.

That night, at home, Anna checks her Instagram, finding that not only has *Annihilate*_*Anna* responded with a comment, but another-- Preecher_Spea@ks-- has been posting on Reddit, following Anna's stories and sending conspiracy stories online, many about Celtic cabals.

She's frightened when Dexter sneaks up behind her, accidentally lashing out and nicking his face with a knife. He doesn't seem all too worried. Instead, he hands her a pregnancy test. She worries that it hasn't been two weeks yet, but when he shows her the calendar...it has been.

They head to the bathroom, use the test, and discover that the procedure worked. Anna's pregnant. The two embrace in celebration, but Dexter receives a phone call from Sonia Shawcross. They have to chat about a pop-up show in the Hamptons; he has to take the call.

Answer: Stress

At Dr. Hill's office, Anna and Dexter are able to watch an ultrasound and take a look at their fetus' heartbeat. Dexter has to ask-- is there a way they can make this stick? Dr. Hill doesn't have a clear answer. She needs to eat healthy and be optimistic and, most importantly, she needs to avoid stress. Any stress at all.

The last point is particularly problematic. When Anna visits Siobhan with the news, her agent immediately decides to shift the award season campaign to better frame the pregnancy news. Best of all, she has a surprise; she has a connection with a design house in Hollywood and she's gotten her hands on her first award look-- the actual dress Madonna wore to the 1991 Oscars. And it fits perfectly. They take a look in the mirror in Anna's bedroom and pose in front of it...until is cracks on its own. The message written on it by the intruder-- DON'T DO IT ANNA-- still reads on it. Anna couldn't get it to wipe of.

Answer: Babette was born in another generation

Anna ends up at the Gotham Awards and hits the red carpet in her Madonna gown, posing for the tabloids until one of her fellow nominees, Babette Eno, comes up behind her. The two chat for a moment, with the younger actress starstruck by Anna's presence, having grown up with her early TV work. The paparazzi note it's like generations colliding as Anna departs for her seat in the venue.

At the table for 'The Auteur', Anna's director compliments her on her look and asks about the recent stalking situation, but Anna, Dexter, and Siobhan put a stop to the conversation, instead trying to focus on the event. Before excusing herself to use the bathroom, she tells him not to placate her anymore.

In the bathroom, Anna tries to compose herself, freshening up in front of the mirror while investigating a blemish on her face. As Anna attempts to cover the mark, she pulls at the skin, removing the damage to reveal clear skin.

Naturally, that's when an overexcited fan decides to emerge from one of the stalls.

Answer: Yes

In the bathroom, the excited fan, shakes Anna's hand (sweatily) and gushes about her work, asking question after question, and noticing that she looks nervous. Anna refuses a selfie before rushing back to her stall, throwing up in the toilet. The fan follows her in, attempting to assuage her nausea, but Anna retaliates, pushing her back in an attempt to protect her baby. Unfortunately, the woman falls back when this happens, hitting her head on the floor and remaining still. As blood pours from the woman's head, Anna leaves, being called back for her category.

As Anna takes her seat back at her table, the nominees are called for her award and, to her surprise, she wins the Gotham to the applause of the room. She takes the stage and starts her acceptance speech, but she's struck unable to speak when she sees the crazed fan from the bathroom starting to clap in the silence, seated at the table next to Babette. On Babette's other side is Ms. Preecher, dressed in blood-red garb. At her table, Anna sees Dexter kissing Sonia and then turning to the other side to kiss his dead ex-wife, Adeline.

As Anna tries to speak into the microphone, she vomits black blood before collapsing.

Answer: Olivia Wilde

Anna awakens to the sound of a paramedic in the halls of Cipriani's, having been brought back to consciousness in a stretcher. As she asks after the woman who was laying on the now-clean bathroom floor, she is found to be agitated enough to need a sedative. They inject her against her will after she screams not to be put under...

...and awakens in bed with Siobhan singing her a lullaby. Siobhan lets her know that she was dehydrated and exhausted; it led to an episode at the Gothams. Fortunately, the baby's okay-- the paramedics did some tests-- but she needs to rest and drink water. Anna asks about the woman in the bathroom, but they chalked it up to hallucinations.

As Anna's phone buzzes with negative news articles, suggesting she vomited up her chance at an Oscar, Siobhan reassures her that it'll be fine; the news cycle has a seven-second memory. There's no bad press. Instead, they'll pull a Wilde-card (as in Olivia Wilde) by ignoring the issue and avoiding giving the press any new fodder. Siobhan is giving her 'license to chill'.

Answer: Security guard

It's because of Siobhan's suggestion that Anna and Dexter load into a car, pushing through paparazzi outside her building, to head out to the country to stay at Talia's. Along the way they pass near Dexter's mom's weekend place in Bridgehampton. Anna is apprehensive about heading to the country on account of Dexter's mom potentially being a stressor, but she realizes it likely won't be so bad...if she's even there at all.

They pull up to Talia's place and follow her into the house, taking the tour and meeting Kamal, her security guard. He'll be there 24/7 for peace of mind. Nonetheless, that night at dinner, Anna says she feels exposed as the house is almost entirely made of glass. She has to ask why Talia wants to help them so much; Dexter claims Talia's just a good friend. During the meal, Anna goes to the kitchen to get a sharper knife, inadvertently finding an old photo of Dexter, Talia, and Adeline in the drawer.

Answer: The basement

Unable to sleep in Talia's Hamptons home, Anna leaves the bedroom believing that she hears noises and whispers, almost like chanting, in the house. Kamal emerges to check the basement on her request. They find nothing there, as he expected, as no one really uses that space.

The next day, Anna awakens to attend a prenatal yoga class. It works, helping her calm herself, but only until she feels a harsh pain in her back. Her instructor tells her that everything will be fine, providing her with a pillow for support; if her body isn't okay, it will tell her.

After the class, she rushes to the hospital in pain, Kamal driving her there after she starts bleeding in the back seat of his vehicle. She's checked in, tests are performed, and she meets the nurse there-- Ivy. And Ivy looks somewhat familiar... Anna asks if she's from the city. Yes, Ivy claims. Toronto. Not New York.

Answer: No

Ivy informs Anna that everything is fine based on her vitals and tests and, since she's twelve-weeks pregnant, she asks for permission to perform an ultrasound (which Anna willingly gives). The machine starts up and Anna places her feet in the stirrups for the examination, but it all goes horribly. Ivy withdraws the transducer to find it covered in blood and, without explaining, heads out to find a doctor. Anna, afraid, rushes to the bathroom to cry.

As Anna falls unconscious she dreams of her newborn baby, holding him in a flowery field. She awakens to the sound of her doctor's voice, knowing that she miscarried the baby. Unfortunately, as her doctor notes, it's likely they may never know why; most miscarriages occur due to undetected abnormalities. What she needs to remember is that it is not her fault. She asks what the sex of the baby would have been; she's told it was a boy.

The doctor says they'll need to perform an ultrasound to determine if any fetal tissue remains in her uterus, but Anna reminds him that she just had an ultrasound. The doctor denies this-- her records states her last one was weeks ago. That can't be right though, she says-- a nurse by the name of Ivy performed it.

Unfortunately, she's in a small community hospital. There is no staffer by the name of Ivy working there.
