Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the RA of Sabrina's new home?

Answer: Morgan

She knows Sabrina, Hilda, and Zelda without them even having to introduce themselves to her. When Hilda and Zelda are there, Morgan reassures them that she will take great care of Sabrina. As soon as they leave, she shows her true colors. All she cares about is looking pretty and going out on dates.

She never answers Sabrina's questions or tries to help her out. In fact, we never see her doing any of the things an RA should do. After "Every Witch Way But Loose," the only evidence you see that she is the RA is that she lives upstairs in the biggest bedroom in the house while everyone else lives downstairs.
2. What do Hilda and Zelda do in season five, beginning in "Double Time?"

Answer: Hilda buys the coffee house and Zelda teaches at the college

Neither of them wants to be away from Sabrina forever, so they both take jobs to be near her. Zelda teaches physics at Adams College, where Sabrina goes to school, and Hilda buys the coffee house that Sabrina works at. Josh gets demoted to being a regular employee there and Hilda is the boss of both of them. Initially, the coffee shop's business goes bad as soon as she takes over, but when she comes up with an idea for an open mic night (where people can tell jokes or play songs to an audience), the business gets good again.

Sabrina never takes Zelda's class but her roommates do.
3. Who fantasizes about marrying Zelda?

Answer: Miles

Zelda tells Miles that he is the smartest student in any of her classes. This makes him develop a crush on her to the point where his daydream is a wedding between them. Zelda invites him to her house for an advanced physics lesson for her best students and she tells him to invite two other students.

But when he sees them, he deliberately avoids telling them about it. She does not have these feelings for him and she gets angry with him constantly trying to hit on her. Sabrina comes over to the house with a serious witch problem of her own. Miles sees Sabrina's head sliding to her left, but Zelda tells him that his hormones are making him hallucinate and she tells him to go home and get some rest. Really, she sends him home because she cannot allow him to see any more odd things that might prove to him that they're witches. Witches are not allowed to tell anyone that they are witches (or the witches council takes away their magic and they are no longer witches) and while it's okay if a mortal figures it out on his own (like Harvey did) as long as he's not a witch hunter (like Brad), it's better if they don't (Harvey broke up with Sabrina over this).
4. Who does Sabrina meet on the rings of Saturn?

Answer: Katrina

Sabrina cannot get along with any of her roommates, classmates, or co-workers. To get away from them and calm down for a while, she tags along on Hilda's date and goes to an amusement park on Saturn. There, she meets her evil twin Katrina for the second time. Katrina is a janitor at the amusement park, a job that she is doing with the hopes of getting her prison sentence reduced. Sabrina tries to cheer her up but fails, and as she walks away, Katrina reaches into Sabrina's backpack and swaps passports with her (Katrina steals Sabrina's passport and Katrina leaves her own passport in Sabrina's backpack).

Hilda finds Katrina but thinks she is Sabrina, and she tells her that they are going back home. Hilda unknowingly takes Katrina to the Spellman house. While in the mortal realm, she tells Hilda that Zelda wants to steal her boyfriend. She also tells Hilda that she broke her pointing finger and asks Hilda to zap her to her college home. Hilda never suspects anything and she does that. While there, she unplugs Miles' cables so he misses the meteor shower and she reads Roxie's diary. When Morgan asks Katrina if she (Katrina) likes the dress that she (Morgan) will wear for her date, Katrina says no and Morgan goes upstairs to change. While Morgan's upstairs, Josh comes to the house for the date. Katrina says that Morgan got sick and Katrina goes on the date with Josh. When they return to the house, Katrina kisses Josh and Morgan sees it.

When the real Sabrina attempts to return home, she gets stopped by security (because she has Katrina's passport and security thinks that's who she is) and she gets sent to prison. Her cellmate is Jezebelda, Zelda's evil twin. Sabrina attaches a note to a meteor and throws it to Hilda and Zelda. Salem makes a new passport for Sabrina and her aunts get it to her. While Morgan is shouting at Katrina, Morgan gets paused. Sabrina shows up and gets her real passport back. Katrina's prison sentence is extended and she can no longer reduce it with community service. The one good thing that happens to Katrina after all of this is that when she returns to prison, Jezebelda is happy to see her again.

When Sabrina unpauses Morgan, Morgan shouts at her for a few more seconds, then stops when she sees that Sabrina's clothes suddenly seem to change (Sabrina and Katrina were wearing different clothes and Morgan does not know that it was Katrina who kissed Josh). Sabrina apologizes to each of her roommates as if she is the one who did these things to them (She is not allowed to tell them the truth because that would reveal that she is a witch and she is not allowed to let them know that. Besides, she would have been unable to prove the truth so they probably wouldn't have believed her) and she makes amends with all of them. Sabrina talks to Josh, and he tells Sabrina that he is not interested in dating her again and they are better off as friends.

In season seven, Sabrina and Ashanti pretended that they met each other on the rings of Saturn to impress Sabrina's co-workers and save Sabrina's job at "Scorch" magazine. In actuality, Ashanti was never on the rings of Saturn.
5. What was wrong with Mu Pi?

Answer: Homework cheating

Sabrina and Roxie become journalism majors and they attend a meeting for potential editors competing for the right to write for the school newspaper. The editor pairs them up and he tells all the teams to write a provocative story. The two most provocative stories make the paper and the rest go in the trash. To come up with their story, they pretend to want to join Mu Pi, a sorority where one of the leaders is their housemate, Morgan. They know that she is very shallow, unethical, and not very smart, so their idea is to find out why girls would want to join a sorority that is led by people like her. They attend a Mu Pi meeting pretending that they want to join (even Morgan doesn't know what they are really doing) but really getting information for their article.

At first, the fraternity seems great. Sabrina and Roxie learn that they do a lot of work for helping the less fortunate, working with animals, etc., and that's not what they wanted to learn. Just before they leave, they learn that at the next meeting, all of the initiates will be doing the seniors' homework and this is a requirement for joining the sorority. So, that's the story that Sabrina and Roxie intend to write. The next day, they go to the homework cheating meeting. Sabrina talks to the girls and asks them why they would this when they know it is wrong. She finds out that the girls are being pressured by their family and their other friends to join the sorority. Their friends and family do not care about right and wrong and these girls would rather do the wrong thing than disappoint their friends and family.

Sabrina then feels conflicted about writing the article. She cannot decide whether to write the article and do the right thing but potentially ruin some girls' lives, or not write the article and leave this cheating ring unexposed. It takes hours for her to make up her mind and by the time she does, it's too late. Morgan tells Sabrina and Roxie that the initiates all took a stand and decided not to do the seniors' homework. Morgan also tells Sabrina and Roxie that someone must have inspired these girls to take a stand. Morgan never finds out the truth, but Sabrina and Roxie know that they are the ones who inspired these girls to do the right thing. Roxie is upset about not getting this particular article in the paper, but Sabrina convinces her to be happy that they convinced the girls to do the right thing and that's more important than being in the newspaper. In the end, Sabrina and Roxie get in the newspaper by writing a negative review of the entertainment at Hilda's Coffee House.
6. Who asks Roxie on a date?

Answer: Frankenstein

When Hilda and Zelda go to a party in the other realm, Sabrina throws a party in their house with all of her friends plus some monsters that she bought from the other realm. Sabrina does not get permission from Hilda and Zelda to do this. Hilda and Zelda leave their party and go home to find Sabrina's party in their house.

They end the party and intend to punish Sabrina, but they have to help her return all of the monsters to the other realm first. Salem tells Sabrina that Frankenstein and Roxie left the house together. Sabrina goes to the college house, finds Frankenstein, and takes him to Hilda and Zelda's house. Hilda says that he's married.

They take him to his home and they solve the problem that he and his wife were having. Sabrina then tells Roxie that Frankenstein is married. Roxie accepts that and realizes she cannot date him.
7. Who joins a cult?

Answer: Miles

In philosophy class, Miles gives an answer that impresses his professor. It also impresses a pair of eavesdroppers who, right after class, invite him to their group. He does not want to go, but Sabrina pressures him to because she wants him to have a social life. He decides he will go to the meeting if Sabrina and Roxie go with him. Sabrina gets Roxie to go with them by lying and saying they were going to the movies.

When the women get back to the college house, Roxie tells Sabrina that the group that Miles joined is a cult. Sabrina goes to another meeting to check to see if Miles is okay. She sees that the cult leader, Jim Thom, is convincing people to give him their stuff (one man gave up his helicopter). The cult members willingly do that and do not question anything he says. Sabrina becomes suspicious of Jim Thom. She asks Miles if he is okay. He says he is very happy, but then he tells her something that shocks her.

Miles tells Sabrina that Jim Thom is a witch. Sabrina knows that witches in the mortal realm are supposed to hide the fact that they are witches, so she concludes that if Jim Thom is telling these people that he is a witch, then he probably is not a witch. She also sees him "levitate" in a way that's unlike any witch that she knows.

Sabrina asks Zelda how to prove whether Jim Thom is or is not a witch. Zelda says that Sabrina has to steal a hair from his pinkie. If the hair curls, he is not a witch. Sabrina then teleports to Jim Thom's inner space (where no one is allowed except Jim Thom). She turns herself into a fly and listens to a phone conversation that Jim Thom is having. She overhears Jim Thom saying something mean about Miles. While she's a fly, she does what Zelda says and she discovers that he is not a witch.

Sabrina goes to another meeting and tries to tell Miles and the other cult members what she learned about Jim Thom. Unfortunately, she has trouble convincing them to listen to her because they don't see her as an expert on witches. She cannot prove to them that she is an expert on witches without revealing herself to be a witch, which she does not want to do. Just when she's about to give up, Jim Thom appears.

Jim Thom says that he just obtained a "prophet who has chosen to visit us in a unique form." When Jim Thom reveals the "prophet," Sabrina is horrified because the "prophet" is really Salem (Salem had ordered Chinese food at the Spellman house, then he revealed himself to be a talking cat to the delivery person, who then took him to Jim Thom, and then Salem talked in front of Jim Thom, who bought the cat from the delivery man). Sabrina casts a spell that prevents Salem from talking (but no one notices her doing that except Salem). Salem opens his mouth and no words come out. Jim Thom leaves with the cat.

When Jim Thom takes the cat away, Sabrina tries to convince the cult members that this proves that she was right. They think that the cat is refusing to talk because Sabrina is a non-believer and they think that the cat will not reveal himself to a non-believer. Sabrina then points her finger at the TV, which then shows what Jim Thom is doing right at that moment (but for some reason, even though everybody was looking at her when she did this and none of them know that she is a witch, no one questions why the TV turned on when she just pointed her finger at it, or why there's a channel that shows Jim Thom's inner space when no one is supposed to see it). They see him talking to the cat and they hear him calling all of them "idiots" and "losers." They also see that their stuff is in his home, when he had promised to give it to an orphanage. They also see that he is eating beef after he told them to be vegetarians. This is when they finally believe Sabrina. At this point, they all get very upset and they leave.

After Jim Thom's former followers leave, Sabrina uses his magic to open the doors that lead to Jim Thom's inner space and she causes a big gust of wind in his home. She also levitates (like a real witch) and she turns his tiger-skin rug (which wasn't actually his, he conned it out of one of his former followers) into a live tiger. She then causes a thunderstorm. She does all of this to let him know what a real witch does, and she tells him that all of his followers left. He then leaves his house.

Back at the college house, Sabrina apologizes for Miles for pushing her to join the cult. She then sees that Miles was never mad at her. Miles tells Sabrina that he is still friends with all of the former cult members. He also praises Sabrina for risking her life for their sake, and he tells her that he will do the same for her if she ever joins a cult where everybody gets conned by a conman.

In the final scene, Zelda returns home. While she is coming downstairs, Salem and Sabrina are in the living room and they agree not to tell her what happened while she was gone (I do not know how Zelda did not hear them). They stay true to their promise, but then the pizza arrives. Zelda answers the door and the audience sees that the pizza deliveryman is Jim Thom. She does not recognize him, but he walks into the living room and then Salem and Sabrina see him (Salem hisses at him and Sabrina says "You!"). He decides that the pizza is free and then he runs off, baffling Zelda.

This episode is interesting because normally, when a witch reveals her true identity to a mortal, the witches council takes away her magic (this happened to some of Sabrina's cousins in "Sabrina the Matchmaker" back in season three). Also, normally when a witch changes the weather, she is punished by Mother Nature (this happens in "Sabrina Nipping at Your Nose," the season four Christmas episode). I guess the Witches Council and Mother Nature made an exception here because she had a good reason for doing this stuff and she was not doing it for a selfish reason. It is also interesting that Salem does not get punished for revealing his talking abilities to two mortals, when in "I Think I Love You," Sabrina tells him that he'd be turned into a doormat if he revealed this to even one mortal. Maybe the Witches Council decided that he'd suffered enough because those two mortals had trapped him in a cage for hours.
8. Who becomes Professor Carlin's girlfriend?

Answer: Zelda

Professor Carlin is an English professor. Sabrina, Roxie, and Miles take his class. None of them can earn a grade better than a C in his class because he is the school's toughest grader. Sabrina convinces Zelda to talk to him about her grades in the class, and Zelda does this and ends up dating him. On Sabrina's next assignment, she becomes the first ever student to get an A on one of his assignments. Roxie and Miles see that Professor Carlin and Zelda are sweet-talking to each other and they conclude that the only reason that Sabrina got an A on the assignment is because her aunt is dating the professor.

They lose all respect for her. Later on, Professor Carlin and Zelda get in a huge fight and Sabrina thinks they broke up and her grades will go down south.

She asks him to read her "A" paper again. He does so and ends up upgrading it to an A+, proving that he gave her the grade because she deserved it and not because he was dating her aunt. Sabrina convinces him not to be such a tough grader in the future.

He continues dating throughout season five and through part of season six.
9. Whose family does Sabrina spend Christmas with?

Answer: Morgan

Morgan invites Sabrina to spend Christmas with her and her family. Sabrina decides that's better than spending Christmas with her aunts, so she accepts the invitation. Salem stows away in her suitcase. At first, when she arrives at the Cavanaugh home on Christmas Eve, Sabrina is thrilled.

The Cavanaugh family is nice to her, she likes their Christmas home, and she is attracted to Morgan's brother, Chip. Then, the Cavanaugh family shows their true colors. The parents insult each other all of the time and Chip is overly obsessed with Salem.

It gets worse when the father sprays some carolers with a fire extinguisher. Morgan explains that she invited Sabrina because she figured that would make her family behave, and also because she did not think she could survive another Christmas with her family if Sabrina wasn't there. On Christmas, Morgan's parents do not like her gifts and they insult her.

After Morgan walks out feeling upset, Sabrina goes out and encourages her to tell them how she feels.

She does so and Sabrina backs her up, but they see nothing wrong with their behavior. Sabrina leaves and decides never to return to the Cavanaugh house.
10. Who spends Christmas with Hilda and Zelda?

Answer: Roxie

Roxie does not want to spend another Christmas with her family because she has never enjoyed any Christmas that she has spent with them. She secretly plans to spend Christmas by herself, sleeping on the couch at the college house. Hilda goes there to retrieve a dish that she lent to Sabrina (after learning that Sabrina's Christmas plans do not involve that dish) and then she finds Roxie there. Roxie explains the situation. Out of sympathy, Hilda invites Roxie to spend Christmas with her and Zelda. At first, Zelda is angry because they were supposed to host a Christmas party for their relatives from the other realm, and they cannot do that with Roxie because she is a mortal. Hilda convinces Zelda that giving Roxie a good Christmas is much more important than hosting that party because all their relatives have somewhere else to go for a nice Christmas (another relative agrees to host the party instead) but Roxie has nowhere to go for Christmas. Zelda informs the relatives about the change in plans, and then she and Hilda do some research on what a regular Christmas is like for mortals so they can give one to Roxie. They give Roxie candy canes, eggnog, and a lot of presents. A real live reindeer even shows up in the house. The reindeer was supposed to go to the other relative's house, but he never got the note about the change in plans. Roxie is thrilled to see the reindeer, thinking they brought it in just for her.

Roxie tells Sabrina that her aunts throw an amazing Christmas party and she wants to spend Christmas with them again next year. In season six, there is no Christmas episode, so we never find out if that happens. After season six, Hilda and Zelda move to the other realm and Roxie no longer has the option to spend Christmas with them. In "It's a Hot Hot Hot Hot Christmas," the season seven Christmas episode, we learn more about why there is tension between Roxie and her parents and we even meet Roxie's mom. With Sabrina's help, Roxie and her mom finally have a good Christmas together.

Miles celebrates Hannukkah, not Christmas, with his family. At the end of the episode, the refrigerator in the college house completely filled with food that Miles' mother packed for him and his roommates. It is a LOT of food.
