Mark Labbett was born on 15 August 1965 in Tiverton, Devon, England. Mark Labbett is a professional quizzer and television personality. He became a part of "The Chase" when the programme was initially launched in 2009 with Bradley Walsh as the host. He has also appeared on the American version of "The Chase" and was one of the chasers on the Australian version of "The Chase".

Mark is known as "The Beast" because of his height, which is 6'6", and at one time his weight was 406 lbs (184.16 kilograms). Also, his surname "Labbett" is pronounced similarly to "La Bête", which translates to "The Beast" in French.

Anne Hegerty was born on 14 July 1958 in Westminster, London, England. On "The Chase," Ann is known as "The Governess.". The reason why she is known as "The Governess" is because she looks and dresses like a teacher in a school or private household. Ann has also been a chaser in the Australian and New Zealand versions of the show.

When Anne left Edinburgh University, she commenced her career as a reporter and feature writer at the South Wales Argus, located in Newport. Subsequently, Ann relocated to Manchester, where she served as a ghostwriter and authored two books for the American children's author Richard Scarry.

Hegerty took part in the 18th series of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!", ultimately securing seventh place.

Jenny Ryan was born on 2 April 1982 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Jenny is an English professional quizzer, singer, and television personality, best known as "The Vixen". Ryan first appeared on a quiz show in 2003 when she helped the University of Leeds go to the semi-finals of University Challenge. As with many of the chasers, Jenny has appeared on several TV quiz shows, including "Mastermind" in 2006, choosing the American television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as her speciality, and "Fifteen to One".

Jenny received a recommendation for "The Chase" from Anne Hegerty, known as "The Governess", due to their shared experience on the same quiz team, where Ryan acted as the captain. She joined the show on 2 September 2015. Bradley Walsh came up with the nickname "The Vixen" because of her appearance and how clever she is.

Darragh Ennis was born on 29 September 1980 in Dublin, Ireland. Darragh is a professional quizzer and television personality. He is also a researcher at the University of Oxford as an entomologist (scientific study of insects).

In April 2020, Darragh was revealed as the sixth chaser on "The Chase". Darragh made his debut on the programme in series 12, episode 2010, which was broadcast on 19 November 2020.

Before becoming a chaser on the show, Darragh was a contestant on the show in 2017. In the first round, "The Cash Builder", he won £9000 and then took on Paul Sinha, "The Sinnerman", in the Head-To-Head. Darragh beat the chaser and went into the final. In the final chase with three other contestants, they beat the chaser, each winning £1,575.

"Beat the Chasers" is a British quiz show that premiered on the ITV network on 27 April 2020. The program is a derivative of the British game show "The Chase". Various international versions of the show have aired in different countries.

One contestant participates by responding to a sequence of multiple-choice questions, each valued at £1,000. The round concludes when they either answer a question incorrectly or successfully answer five questions. Subsequently, they must then choose how many chasers they want to take on in the final in a timed head-to-head round, during which the chasers will set a time limit for themselves (which is always under 60 seconds) and provide greater cash rewards as motivation to take on more of them.

When Brad was young, he was even a professional footballer for a while, but an injury in 1982 ended his career. Brad then went into show business and has never looked back.

From 2004 to 2006, he portrayed the character Danny Baldwin in the British soap opera "Coronation Street". In his capacity as a host, Brad has presented several shows, including "Wheel of Fortune" (1997), "Odd One In" (2010-2011), and "Cash Trapped" (2016-2019), among others.

Paul Sinha was born as Supriya Kumar Sinha on 28 May 1970, in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. Paul's family has a background in medicine, so he followed in his family's footsteps and qualified as a general practitioner in the 1990s. He was trained in Tooting, South London's St George's Hospital Medical School. It was at this time that Paul started to develop his comedy routine.

It was on the fourth series of "The Chase" that Paul joined the show. His first episode was broadcast on 8 September 2011. On the show, Paul usually wears a white suit and black shirt.

Shaun Wallace, known as "The Dark Destroyer", was born on 2 June 1960, in London, England. In addition to his role as a television personality, Shaun is a barrister (lawyer) and a part-time lecturer. He has been a chaser since the inception of the show. Like many of the other chasers, he has participated in the spin-off programmes, which include "Celebrity Special", "The Family Chase", and "Beat The Chasers".
