Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In theory, the Primis Crew should have only been on Alcatraz Island briefly, at most a few minutes, before leaving. However the Warden himself throws a gigantic wrench in the team's plans and foils their initial means of escaping, trapping them on the island. What is the objective for the Primis Crew here?

Answer: Escape

Richtofen essentially dragged the group here, into his personal laboratory, essentially aiming to collect some blood vials and depart, with the crew set to head to Stalingrad to play out the events of Gorod Krovi from "Black Ops 3".

However, something very strange happens. Richtofen actually encounters a Primis version of himself, who informs him that the Kronorium has changed along with his purpose and general destiny. After the playable Richtofen learns of this, he begins to hyperventilate before The Warden appears and seals the portal the group had used to access Alcatraz. With this done, the player must find another way to escape Alcatraz Island.
2. The Warden isn't just a menace in cinematic cutscenes, as he will enjoy getting his hands dirty in gameplay too. He is multi-faceted in his harassment of the player, able to not only simply damage and potentially kill the player, but disrupt the environment around them as well. Which of the following can The Warden do?

Answer: Disable perk machines

Specialist Equipment is definitely the best way to put The Warden down, and can frequently be used to take him out entirely in just one usage. Even if using the dogwater Hellfire, let alone the actually great Path of Sorrows or usable Ragnarok-DG4 or Overkill, The Warden is very simple to take out like this.

The player is going to want to take him out fast as, if they do not, he is liable to roam and wander near perk machines, barriers, even Pack-a-Punch, swing his baton and temporarily disable them. In order to re-enable them, the player must spend an annoyingly high two thousand points. So players should keep their Specialists at the ready in case he shows up in the vicinity of these utilities.
3. In order to engage with the Easter Egg Main Quest, players are going to need to get their hands on the Hell's Retriever. In a nutshell, how is the Hell's Retriever unlocked?

Answer: Feeding wolves with zombies

The exact same method used back on Mob of the Dead is used to unlock the same utility on this map. The only difference between getting the Hell's Retriever on this map and its original version is that the wolves players need to feed appear on different parts of the map. Here, the wolves appear in Model Industries, Eagle Plaza and right next to the Mozu wallbuy.

Feeding each wolf eight zombies will cause the Hell's Retriever to appear. To acquire it, players need to use the Fast Travel, watch for the Hell's Retriever, then hit the interact button at the correct time. This is way easier to do than I am making it seem.
4. With the Hell's Retriever in hand, it would be preferred albeit not mandatory to use it to earn a free Blundergat, the maps's Wonder Weapon. In order to do this, players must roam around the map and throw the Hell's Retriever at five of a particular object. What must the Hell's Retriever be thrown at to earn a free Blundergat?

Answer: Skulls

Mercifully, this is nowhere near as stupid as finding bones on Revelations was, as the skulls are plainly distinguishable for those without damning vision impediments. They can be found on the Roof, right outside Richtofen's Laboratory, to the side of the MOG12 wallbuy, Eagle Plaza and the Docks.

They do not have to be axed in any particular order, but since the free Blundergat appears in the Warden's office directly next to Eagle Plaza, saving that one for last probably makes sense most of the time.
5. This map offers an all-new variant of the Blundergat Wonder Weapon, the Magmagat. To get this, players must place the regular Blundergat in a fire place and charge it up with souls. Where does this take place?

Answer: Warden's House

In the Warden's House lies a single fireplace, found towards the back of the building. The player must, with the Blundergat equipped, interact with it to place it inside the fireplace. Once done, the player must kill zombies and collect their souls until the fireplace makes a very distinct sound cue to indicate the completion.

Once the fireplace is done, players must take the Blundergat. They now are on a timer to take it all the way to Model Industries and place it in a crate, whereupon it will emerge afterward as the Magmagat.

It is important to note, when accepting the Blundergat after giving it souls, players cannot put it away at all or they'll mess everything up and have to start over. They also must take the Blundergat to various barrels along the way which are lit with a blue flame, as they will run out of time if they don't do this, and this blue flame effectively restarts the timer.
6. In order to even begin the Easter Egg Main Quest, the players must acquire the Spoon melee weapon. To do this, they'll need the Hell's Retriever and a very particular code which is randomized every playthrough. Where can players find the code?

Answer: Warden's Office

By taking out the shield and plugging in the key when facing the desk in the Warden's Office, three random numbers will be seen attached to pillars in the room. The player must take these numbers, then put them in order inside the power box in the Citadel Tunnels.

If the code is correctly input, players now have the time sensitive task of rushing to the Docks and throwing the Hell's Retriever at a a cage hanging overhead the giant body of water. If done correctly, the Spoon will fall from the cage ontop of a wooden crate and will be available for retrieval for the rest of the match.
7. With the Spoon in hand, players must use it to damage a wall in the Warden's House. Then, the next step must wait for The Warden to show up. Players could just wait for him to randomly appear, or to expedite it, they can input a code into the power box at the Citadel Tunnels to summon him. What code must be put in to manually cause The Warden to spawn?

Answer: 666

Note that this code only works one time per entire game, so the player must ensure that it's worth it when this code is used.

When 666 is put in, the player should immediately make a mad dash for the wall they scratched with the Spoon in the Warden's House. Any players in the same session should similarly rush to this wall. All players should cluster next to this wall to lure The Warden over, whereupon they need him to use his jump attack against the scratched up wall. If done correctly, the attack will knock down the wall completely and allow the quest to proceed.

It is worth noting that, starting Round 17, The Warden will appear every single round if his wall is scratched up with the Spoon. So if players mess things up, they can still proceed with the quest here. However, for those looking to do this far, far earlier than Round 17, using the code to manually summon The Warden tends to be preferred.

If the player happens to put in 115 for a code, they will instead cause the map's Easter Egg song to play.
8. After busting down a wall in The Warden's House, players have the all-important Kronorium stolen from them by a ghostly-bird. Players must spend the next four rounds trying to find ghostly birds. The search can become quite tedious. How many possible spawn locations can a ghost bird appear in?

Answer: Forty Two

Each and every single room in this map has at least one, some have more, potential spawn locations. One bird can be found per round, and a total of four must eventually be found, which will force players to check these spots each round for four whole rounds. Fortunately, if a player happens to be close to a spot, they will hear a very loud auditory indicator that does slightly reduce the tedium of this step.
9. After getting the Kronorium back, players must bring it back to The Warden's House. They'll receive another code and, after putting it in, the lighthouse on the Docks will now shine in one of a few random directions. Should players go towards this light to proceed the Easter Egg Main Quest?

Answer: Yes

At the tail end of the beam of light will be a massive, pulsating red orb that the player must Shield Blast to interact with. This will begin one of a series of challenges the player must finish.
10. One of the challenges needed to complete the penultimate step of the Easter Egg involves the player needing to operate with Morse Code. After ascertaining the correct code, the player must meet a ghost inside the Infirmary. From the Infirmary, where must the player escort this ghost?

Answer: Docks

The ghost moves annoyingly slowly through the prison, which leaves the player susceptible to being caught by a horde of zombies in a de-facto chokepoint. The player must guide the ghost to the gondola leading down to the Docks, so they will want to ensure the gondola is in position before starting this step.
11. In the Showers, the player will endure a truly bizarre challenge, as they must kill zombies while simultaneously having their character play a musical instrument. What instrument is given to the player here?

Answer: Banjo

As the player holds the banjo, the banjo-wielder must kill zombies inside a small blue circle. This is no ordinary banjo however, as it will continuously sap the health of whoever is holding it, thus introducing a soft timer to completing this quest. That said, the banjo can be freely returned to the ghost before this step is finished if the banjo holder ends up low on health, so it is not especially demanding.

The only catch is, progress can only be made while a player holds a banjo, and the banjo-wielder kills zombies inside a blue circle.

The Magmagat makes this step very easy.
12. One challenge players must complete starts within Michigan Avenue. Here, a fairly meek looking ghost will spawn. What is the player's objective with this ghost?

Answer: Defend it

When this small, feeble looking ghost spawns, it will slowly float around the prison before it returns to the spot it started. As it does so, zombies will now prioritize the ghost instead of players and will try to destroy it. Players must defend the ghost as it slowly travels through the prison. If zombies manage to destroy it, predictably, that will fail the step. Thankfully, the Magmagat is amazing for this, as it not only kills zombies very fast, but also redirects them away from the ghost in doing so.
13. In the D Block, players will witness what appears to be a ghost assembling its own Spoon for use. How cool, right? The ghost will proceed to leave the block and head right for Model Industries. As it travels, what should players try to do with it?

Answer: Subdue it

This ghost moves very slow. Players must Shield Blast it at a quantity of blasts equal to four for every player in the game before it complete its journey to Model Industries. Once it arrives, if players have blasted it enough, its body will light up red. From here, someone must activate the Blade Trap in Model Industries to destroy the ghost.

If the player fails, they will watch this ghost use their newly acquired Spoon to stab a different ghost.
14. Most infamously, dubbed the "Power Room" challenge, players must play a mini-game involving some generators and a punch card. What mini-game are they playing here?

Answer: Samantha Says

After interacting with a smoking mechanism in the Power Room, a series of generators will light up, and these generators have symbols attached to them. The player must perfectly input the symbols into a punch machine using the punch card. This must be done three times.

This is absolutely an instance of 'easier said than done' as this step can be very challenging, especially for solo players.
15. After the entirety of the Lighthouse's challenges are exhaustingly finished, players will be treated to a cutscene cinematic involving interacting with The Warden. What does The Warden do here?

Answer: Subdue and imprison the player

Initiation of the cinematic prompts players to return to The Warden's House. In this cinematic, The Warden corners the player(s) and knocks them out with a hefty overhead blow of his baton. They awaken later, confined in a cell as The Warden taunts them. They are freed by a small flock of ghostly birds, whereupon they can retrieve their equipment.
16. It's boss time! Who is the boss?

Answer: The Warden

In essence, it is one freakishly huge version of The Warden, supplemented by a series of visages of himself that are essentially the mini-boss version of himself. Players must defeat the big, bad version by first slaying the smaller, mini-boss iterations, then using bullet weapons to weaken a series of orbs surrounding the big one.

After the orbs are weakened enough, players must shield blast the big Warden until the orbs return or the fight is over. Players will likely need to destroy these orbs a few times, but it is possible to win the fight entirely after doing it just once if players are well coordinated enough.
17. Right as it comes time to finish off the boss, one player and one player only will undergo a ton of pressure in carefully navigating themselves to the boss room in a slightly different context. The player tasked with doing this will always be playing as a particular character. Which one?

Answer: Richtofen

Whoever is playing as Richtofen will find themselves in a very brief cinematic, where they briefly play as a different Richtofen, coming through a portal. This Richtofen holds a crucial gemstone which, in a later cinematic, is used to essentially defeat the boss once and for all.

As Richtofen, the player must guide him from his Laboratory, through the prison, and into the boss room. The Richtofen player will be alone and cannot receive direct support from other players, though someone could use an Elixir to help the Richtofen player out. As they traverse the prison, random door and hallways will become briefly blocked and deny entry, which will force the Richtofen player to either stand in a vulnerable position and hold out until the blockage wears off, or maneuver somewhere safer and go from there.

If the Richtofen player dies during this sequence, players cannot yet end the boss fight and will need to wait until the next round, when the Richtofen player can try again. This is probably the most skill-demanding step of the entire game, as the Richtofen player will have to seriously keep their head on a swivel and be ready to react to random blockages on the spot, lest they be overwhelmed and killed by zombies.

Once this step is complete, the Richtofen player will return to playing as the Richtofen they were playing as at the start of the game. They will be ending the boss fight very soon, however, so this won't last long.
18. Once players hear a character shout "you want mein blood? Then take mein blood!" the fight is effectively over, as one character is about to sacrifice themselves to vanquish the boss and allow for departure of Alcatraz Island. Who sacrifices themselves to the Dark Mechanism in this sequence?

Answer: Richtofen

Having seen the Kronorium depict this exact event, Richtofen will realize that there is no way to escape Alcatraz Island unless he enacts the book's prophecy exactly as it is written. Richtofen will then sit and strap himself inside the Dark Mechanism, and the machine will proceed to completely drain his body of its blood entirely as the rest of the team simply departs the island with little a care for their fallen ally.
19. Up to this point, Richtofen has been the leader of the Primis crew, mapping out where they need to go, what they need to do and when they need to do it. However, in the end cinematic of this map, Richtofen will tell somebody else that they need to inherit the mantle, take the Kronorium, and direct the group moving forward. Who leads Primis after the events on Blood of the Dead?

Answer: Nikolai

At this point, Nikolai is canonically the only one whose Ultimis duplicate has not been killed, since the events on this map precede those of "Black Ops 3's" Gorod Krovi, where Ultimis Nikolai is slain. Here, the "new" Richtofen aims to redirect the group away from Gorod Krovi, aiming to keep Ultimis Nikolai alive rather than enrapture his soul the way the "old" Richtofen had wanted.

"new" Richtofen clarifies that Nikolai's mortal soul resting in his body is what makes him fit to guide the Primis crew moving forward.
20. After briefly arriving in Alcatraz Island, the plan was originally to go straight to Stalingrad. Things greatly change over the course of the Easter Egg Main Quest. Where is Primis headed after defeating the boss and finally escaping?

Answer: Carson City, Nevada

In Carson City, Nevada, an abandoned facility formerly belonging to the Broken Arrow Group lies. It is here where the Alpha Omega map takes place, and it is here where Primis must go next.
