Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:

Sparrow is one of the game's most basic characters, period, and is a standout choice for newer players who are trying to get acclimated to the Carry role. Funnily enough, she was the tutorial character way back in "Paragon" in 2016. While there is no similar tutorial in "Predecessor", Sparrow's design has not changed one slight bit since "Paragon", so she's still very easy to learn.

Twinblast is a step up in difficulty compared to Sparrow. But, his kit is straightforward enough, and his Ultimate notably is essentially the same concept as Sparrow's.

Wraith is definitely on the higher skill curve as far as Carry characters go. He is uniquely not Basic Attack focused like they all are, pressing players into learning to land his signature 'Knock Knock!' ability.

Drongo's kit has the exact same dynamic as Sparrow and Twinblast, notably exchanging a mobility option in return for Rad Rounds, a weapon buff he can use to really go off. He is more vulnerable due to lacking mobility though, explaining his recommendation for the Carry role, where he can expect to receive an allied Support watching his back.

Eden is the most self sustaining Carry in the game, lacking a Mana bar at all, coming with some life steal embedded into her kit and even having a leap she can use to escape danger. However, she is noticeably more fragile than her contemporaries and she starts off somewhat weak out of the gate, justifying her recommendation to a role where she can expect to have an allied Support with her.

Grim.exe may arguably be the most boom or bust choice in this entire role. He also massively needs Support aid, as he is very slow, lacks mobility options to escape and is very large, so he's easy to land hits against too. However, the payoff can be enormous, as Grim.exe can melt healthbars like nothing if given a window of opportunity.

Kira is somewhat of a middle ground between Grim and Sparrow. She is really weak for a Carry early on, with very poor wave clear. However, come the late game, Kira has arguably the best single target DPS potential in the entire game. She also does have some mobility like Twinblast, which can certainly be useful.

Murdock is, along with Sparrow, one of two Carry characters freely available right from the start of the game, with no need of unlock. As such, he is unsurprisingly straightforward to use, and harbors the same general strengths and weaknesses that are shared by fellow Carry characters.

Revenant is very much in Grim.exe's boat of being slow and having little to escape a bad situation with. His single target potential is basically neck and neck with Kira, and he has some degree of anti-Tank and even plain utility baked into his kit. This makes Revenant out to be notoriously difficult to play effectively, but when done so, he's right up there with the best of the best.

Skylar, as per her name, can take to the skies and wield superior mobility over most of her peers. Like Eden, who can make a similar mobility claim, Skylar is incredibly fragile, so she needs a Support who can disrupt enemies who get close to her.

In general, a character must be ranged and wield a strong Basic Attack for Omeda to recommend them as a Carry. Wraith is the exception to this; Wraith being an Ability focused Carry has prompted players to try other Ability-focused heroes in this role. However, as Carry characters, they would all be flawed in ways that make it understandable for Omeda not to recommend them for this role.

Adele, Mourn, Narbash, Riktor, Steel, Bayle, Boris, Countess, Crunch, Feng Mao, Greystone, Kallari, Khaimera and Terra are all melee heroes. As such, they are basically not recommended for Carry by default. Even though some of these heroes can deal impressive damage, they are going to be at a disadvantage fighting ranged enemies who are accompanied by a crowd control heavy Support. Simply put, the Support is designed to make it difficult to get close and personal with their Carry. As such, melee heroes are trying to fight two enemy gunmen with a knife, in a manner of speaking.

Dekker is a Support hero. While she is ranged, her damage output is simply way too poor for her to see the light of day at Carry.

Lt. Belica has very strong Abilities, which may make her seem like a good Carry, in a manner similar to Wraith. However, Wraith's kit works as a Carry because 'Knock, Knock!' is simply burstier than Belica's damaging kit. Belica can get quite bursty late game, but it takes her a very long time to get to this point. Her lacking damage output early would make a Carry role undesirable for her, explaining why Omeda has not recommended her for it.

Muriel, like Dekker but to an even more comical degree, may be ranged, but her damage output is horrible since she is a Support. Enough said.

Gideon is in a similar position to Belica, only his kit simply isn't as bursty as her's is, making him arguably even worse than Belica at trying to be a Carry.

Despite his name, Howitzer's kit is really not very bursty. He's in basically the exact same boat Gideon is.
