Answer: Aldia's Keep

In the game's lore, it is said Aldia learned to command the numerous dragons flying around the Dragon Aerie, commanding one of them in particular to reside in a huge cage positioned right at the back of Aldia's Keep.

Answer: Sellsword Luet

Luet is at his most useful when there's a boss or enemy for him to "aggro", as he wields two greatshields and the Red Eye ring, making it likelier that he will be targeted instead of the player. Sadly, against a giant dragon, it is difficult to properly aggro attacks since the attack used tends to cover a lot of ground anyway.

As such, this would have to be Luet's least useful showcase as a summon.

Answer: Dark

Guardian Dragon has a 10% weakness to both Dark and Lightning, with no further weaknesses to speak of. On the flip side, Fire is least effective against it, as Guardian Dragon holds a 50% resistance to Fire.

Answer: Heide's Tower of Flame

The Guardian Dragon here serves as a mini-boss, fought just before Old Dragonslayer. When slain here, it drops a Petrified Dragon Bone and the Watchdragon Parma Shield, a shield which increases the rate items drop from all enemies.

Answer: Dragon Aerie

The Dragon Aerie is the area right after Aldia's Keep, where the boss encounter with the single Guardian Dragon takes place. The three Guardian Dragons in the Dragon Aerie do not respawn when slain, and each drops a Petrified Dragon bone bare minimum on defeat.

In addition to the Petrified Dragon Bone, it is possible for the Guardian Dragon to drop a Firedrake Stone, Dragon Charm or a second Petrified Dragon Bone.

Answer: Smashing its eggs

In the environment each of the three Guardian Dragons nests in, there are a series of eggs surrounding it. Uniquely, only the player can destroy these eggs. Even if another player invades them and tries to smash the eggs, they will be unable to. This is likely because From Software did not want to unfairly punish the player for something out of their control.

When smashed, the Guardian Dragon will not behave differently apart from loudly roaring in the player's direction. It will gain a red colored buff around its body that persists until death. When buffed, the Guardian Dragon will deal significantly more damage with its attacks.

Answer: Fire Tempest

Fire Tempest is very similar to Chaos Storm. When casting, the player spends moments channeling before their character plunges their flame-imbued fist into the ground. When done, a series of flame pillars will erupt around the caster, knocking back anyone it hits.

Chaos Storm essentially does this too, but the key differences are that Fire Tempest's pillars are more condensed around the caster, the pillars arrive faster than for Chaos Storm, and the player gets more casts of Fire Tempest. In Chaos Storm's favor however, wider flame pillars can allow the player to more readily cheese an enemy by hitting them through the wall. The pillars with Chaos Storm leave behind small pools of magma which can create an environmental hazard, and they deal more damage when a pillar directly hits a target than with Fire Tempest.

Answer: Yes

Sadly, there is no benefit whatsoever to cutting the Guardian Dragon's tail off, other than maybe seeing a funny animation briefly play out.

Answer: When the dragon is flying

If the dragon is mid flight when the player deals the finishing blow, it will attempt to essentially do a 180 degree flip and fall right on its back. However, sometimes, the dragon will be next to or really close to a wall when it tries to do this. If it tries to turn 180 degrees, lie down and die when next to a wall, the wall can block the dragon from doing the flip. The game will show the dragon doing this really trippy animation where it essentially rubber bands from flying upright to being turned over.

This doesn't last for very long, as the dragon's body will shortly just fade away once it is killed. But it is still quite funny to watch.

Answer: Charge attack (R2)

When performing a Charge attack with the Spitfire Spear, it lives up to its name by shooting out a small fireball. This fireball costs the weapon 5 Durability to use, which the player should be mindful of. For optimal damage output, it would be best to get within melee range of the target, then hit with both the thrust of the spear and the fireball simultaneously.
