Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Aurora is recommended for two roles by Omeda Studios. As a swordswoman with close range magic, Offlane is a natural choice. What is Aurora's second recommended role?

Answer: Jungle

Aurora is fast and comes with an excellent mobility Ability, letting her ambush effectively and use her rooting and slowing skills to run foes down. She can do this from the Offlane or the Jungle.

Over time, Aurora has seen significant usage in the Support role. This makes sense, as Aurora possesses acceptable crowd control, can use her close range magic to protect the Carry, and can offer her Carry an escape from a bad situation with Glacial Charge. However, Aurora has likely not been recommended for this role simply due to her kit fitting Offlane and Jungle better.
2. Most Offlane characters specialize in Basic Attack, Ability Power or Durability. What is Aurora's highest scored stat?

Answer: Mobility

Aurora has both excellent movement speed and Glacial Charge, arguably the best tool in the entire game for escaping a dangerous situation. While she is no Wukong, Aurora has been known to be very difficult for opposing Offlaners to nail down and close a kill on due to her outstanding mobility, garnering a score of 8 in this stat.
3. While Aurora has some impressive scores, she also definitely has at least one score that leaves a lot to be desired. What is Aurora's lowest scoring stat?

Answer: Basic Attack Power

With a dismal 1, Aurora will need to lean on her 7 for Ability Power to deal the majority of her damage. This is despite appearing to have a pretty sweet looking, large icicle sword in her hand.
4. Offlane characters frequently find themselves being judged in the Durability compartment. What is Aurora's Durability score?

Answer: 4

A score of 4 is basically just alright, a mark that suggests Aurora is not especially frail, but is also not the tankiest thing in the world. This 4 is actually just barely good enough to justify taking a tankier approach with Aurora's item build, should they player desire it.
5. Aurora's Passive Ability is Frozen Simulacrum. Despite being labeled a 'Passive', it will not actually act on its own. What must Aurora do to activate this so-called 'Passive' Ability?

Answer: Double Jump

Upon double jumping, a frozen clone of Aurora will be left behind right under the spot Aurora jumped from. This clone will attract minion and tower agro, making it a great tool to get some cheap tower hits in with. It can be destroyed, but if left alone will last for several seconds.
6. Most Heroes' Basic Attack deals strictly Physical damage. Aurora's is an exception. Apart from Physical, what other type of damage is inflicted when Aurora basic attacks?

Answer: Magic

The attack still mostly does Physical, but the added bite of Magic can make a difference in a 1v1, especially against an opponent which has not stacked a lot, or any, of Magic Armor.
7. One form of crowd control Aurora can offer also comes from her best wave clear tool, the Alternate Ability in Boreal Sweep. If directly hitting an enemy, what status does Boreal Sweep apply?

Answer: Slow

Boreal Sweep lays out a layer of frost which, after one second, will explode. Both the initial layer of frost and subsequent explosion each offer their own application of Slow, which can be useful if Aurora is trying to run an enemy down.
8. Glacial Charge is Aurora's Primary Ability. It offers both Aurora and her teammates the opportunity to escape a bad situation, while buffing allies who decide to utilize it. What buff does Glacial Charge apply to allies?

Answer: Movement speed

To enhance its ability to offer an escape, allies who use it will grant a significant movement speed buff. This is important, as enemies can also access the Glacial Charge to potentially pursue allies fleeing with it, so the movement speed buff solidifies their ability to escape.
9. Hoarfrost is a very useful Secondary Ability for Aurora to protect her allies, and herself. If an enemy is directly hit by Hoarfrost, what status is applied to them?

Answer: Root

The vast amount of defensive applications this has are too much to list, but to put it simply, taking away the opponent's ability to move will never not be useful. It also does a respectable chunk of damage on top of that.
10. Aurora's Ultimate Ability, Cryoseism, is fantastic for team fights. It is an Area of Effect tool which not only applies multiple useful status effects, it has a unique way of spreading to other enemies who weren't hit by the attack. What happens to units afflicted by Cryoseism?

Answer: They explode

When Aurora herself uses Cryoseism, she actually explodes to start the process off- at no damage to herself, of course. Anyone hit by Aurora's explosion will shortly afterward explode themselves, taking a chunk of damage and applying Cryoseism to anyone that their explosion hits.

In theory, although extremely unlikely, it is possible for Aurora to only hit one target, but for that one target to trigger a domino effect that eventually causes everyone on the enemy team to get hit. It is worth noting that others can't be prompted to explode more than once per usage of Cryoseism, so it will only activate an absolute maximum of five times per use, not counting Aurora's own explosion.
