Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Argus is about the most stereotypical mage apart from maybe Gideon that could exist, so he's a shoo-in for the Midlane role. He is not a one trick pony, however. Which other role has Omeda Studios recommended Argus for?

Answer: Support

Boasting multiple stuns, loads of magic damage and plenty of range, Argus is a capable Support character. The role helpfully offers Argus items which focus on Mana Regen, which is a huge deal for him.
2. Statistically, Argus is extremely slanted. All but one of his scores are pretty pitiful, but he received a perfect 10 in just one of them. What one?

Answer: Ability Power

With 1s in Basic Attack and Mobility to go with a 2 for Durability, Argus and his perfect 10 in Ability Power are extremely reliant on items which let him use Abilities more frequently, to go with plenty of mana regen.
3. Argus' Passive is known as Disintegrate. This makes Argus a great choice on team compositions featuring one or two other sources of Magic damage. Which of the following does Disintegrate directly benefit?

Answer: Ability Damage

When Argus strikes an enemy with an ability, he applies a stack of Disintegrate to them. Enemy players can have infinite stacks of Disintegrate applied to them. When applied, follow up Ability Damage will deal an extra 4 + 2.5% damage as Magic Damage.

While this does include Melee Abilities, Magic characters tend to be the most heavily reliant on Ability Damage, so they, including Argus himself, will get the most out of this.
4. Argus' Alternate Ability is Particle Shredder. The unique thing about Particle Shredder is the number of times Argus is allowed to fire it at max rate before it goes on cool down. How many times can Argus use Max level Particle Shredder before it goes on cooldown?

Answer: Infinite

As long as he has the mana to continue using it, Argus can spam Particle Shredder literally endlessly so long as it is at max level. If it is not at max level, Argus must take a break every three and a half seconds.
5. Dread Nova is Argus' Primary Ability, and it is fantastic at applying crowd control. What status does it afflict victims with?

Answer: Stun

It deals a solid chunk of damage on top of delivering useful crowd control. This is arguably the largest catalyst towards making Argus work in both the Support and Midlane roles, as it helps him in different ways for each role.
6. Ether Crystal is Argus' Secondary Ability. This power packs a ton of utility in one Ability, as it interacts with both enemies and allies. What is one of the things it does?

Answer: Lift Allies up

Ether Crystal lifts allies upward if they're directly in its area of effect, likely to facilitate pulling enemies inward to it without accidentally dragging enemies into allies and putting them in harm's way. It starts by pushing enemies away, lifts allies up, then drags enemies towards it and slows them down if they remain in its AoE.

Like Dread Nova, this Ability packs utility and damage, letting it put in work whether Argus is needed for Midlane or Support duties.
7. Argus' Ultimate Ability is Synaptic Obliterator. This Ability deals lots of damage, but its hidden niche is giving Argus immunity to two different forms of crowd control while he casts it. What does Argus briefly become immune to?

Answer: Push and Pull

Certain characters, such as Riktor, Mourn and Steel, possess the means to interrupt most Ultimate Abilities by either Pushing or Pulling users of them and interrupting their maneuver. Argus is immune to these two statuses while casting, however, meaning he can safely use his Ultimate Ability whenever he wants around those enemies.
8. Like every character, Argus players may choose one of three Hero Augments to equip him with. Their first choice is Arcane Engine. What does Arcane Engine do?

Answer: Conditionally improves Argus' speed

With Arcane Engine, Argus will be granted movement speed buffs if he manages to deal Ability Damage to enemies. This will basically be happening all of the time and it stacks infinitely, which can give Argus a hefty boost to his mobility mid-combat. Each stack of Arcane Engine lasts a second and a half.
9. As a mage, Argus appreciates Mana Catalyst restoring some of his mana. What does Argus have to do to trigger this Hero Augment upon equipping it?

Answer: Deal damage

Argus restores mana equal to 12% of the damage he deals to enemy heroes. This is reduced to 2% against any AI controlled enemy.
10. Synaptic Shock is Argus' third and final option for a Hero Augment. As the name implies, it aids Argus' Synaptic Obliterator Ability in two ways. One is enhancing the Ability's range. What is the second enhancement?

Answer: Slow duration

Specifically, the Slow this ability inflicts will last 50% longer- going from 0.5% to 0.75 seconds.
