Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Grim.exe is a Carry. However, it is entirely unique for being a Carry that almost exclusively deals one type of damage. What type?

Answer: Magic

Even Grim's Basic Attacks deal Magic damage, causing Grim to be very distinct as a Carry. Among the class, only Wraith could even plausibly attempt this, and only if he choose a specific Hero Augment.
2. Like with all Carry characters, Grim's best stats are in Basic Attack and Ability Power. However, Grim does stand out for one thing amongst the Carry class: Durability. Which of the following is true?

Answer: Grim.exe has above average Durability compared to all Carry characters

Although akin to claiming a shiniest turd, Grim.exe is indeed a "tank" Carry character. Of course, that does not mean Grim is an actual tank, or anything close, but it does mean Grim.exe can at least afford to take a single decent hit and retaliate hard.
3. Grim.exe's Passive is Pulsefire, and this is where all the magic happens. Specifically, in how it enhances Grim's Basic Attacks. What does Pulsefire do to Grim's Basic Attacks?

Answer: Make them do Magic damage

Grim.exe is the only character in the entire game to have a Basic Attack do exclusively Magic damage, thanks to Pulsefire. This is what enables Grim to take on a magical carry playstyle.

In addition to this benefit, Pulsefire also gives Grim added damage on consecutive Basic Attacks and Abilities landed. A nifty cherry on top to an amazing Passive.
4. Energy Shield is Grim.exe's Alternate Ability. As the name implies, it is indeed a shield. What does it block?

Answer: Abilities

This Ability essentially functions as somewhat of a parry, where the player must properly time shield usage with enemy ability usage. If the player pulls it off, they'll be rewarded with a portion of their missing mana being restored.
5. Displacement Blast is Grim.exe's Primary Ability. This ability is capable of knocking enemies away from its radius, but only under what one condition?

Answer: Grim must be in Assault Mode

This Ability goes hand in glove with Grim's Secondary Ability, Assault Mode. By triggering it, then using Displacement Blast, its true power can be tapped into.
6. Grim.exe's Secondary Ability is Assault Mode. When activated, it enhances a wide variety of things, Grim's Basic Attacks now applying what helpful status on hit?

Answer: Slow

The Slow will help Grim have a better time landing numerous shots in rapid succession. This is good, as the hefty drawback is that Grim's Basic Attacks will now cost mana to use. As such, the player needs to make them count.
7. Finally, Grim.exe's Ultimate Ability is the comically named GTFO or, Gyro Targeted Force Orb. The description for this ability claims that it pierces terrain, which is only partially true. Which of the following can be used to block GTFO?

Answer: Steel's Force Shield

Steel's Force Shield has some frankly bizarre interactions, with odd rules on what it can and can't block. This is another such bizarre interaction, as Grim's GTFO is capable of piercing every single other form of terrain or wall in the game.

What's unfortunate is, since Steel is a Support and Grim is a Carry, they will very possibly match up against one another in a game. This, unsurprisingly, makes Steel a fantastic choice for a Support if you believe the enemy Carry is going to be a Grim.
8. Like all Heroes, Grim.exe may choose one of three Hero Augments. It's first choice is System Restore, applying an extra benefit to proper usage of Energy Shield. What added benefit does it give?

Answer: Health regen

Unfortunately, as this buff is based on Grim's HP which players scarcely ever seriously invest into, it is going to typically be fairly weak. As such, this is clearly Grim's least effective choice for a Hero Augment, unless the player does decide to try and build items which give them a lot of Max HP.
9. Reboot.exe is Grim.exe's second choice for a Hero Augment. It impacts Pulsefire, granting Grim what nice buff if it manages to activate Pulsefire?

Answer: Ability Cooldown Reduction

This is a fairly solid, unexciting but doubtlessly effective Augment. As Grim is going to activate Pulsefire many, many times throughout the average match, this buff will proc many, many times in kind. Ability Cooldown Reduction definitely has broad application, making this an ultimately safe, consistent choice for a Hero Augment.
10. Instant Reload is Grim.exe's last and clearly "spiciest", most interesting choice for a Hero Augment. Fitfully, it grants a couple of interesting buffs to GTFO. If Grim manages to land a kill with GTFO when using Instant Reload, what happens?

Answer: GTFO can briefly be recast

If the aforementioned conditions are met, Grim has eight seconds to recast GTFO. While rare, it is possible to land a kill with GTFO, do the fast recast, then land another kill with GTFO and snowball from there, as this Augment does not have a cooldown or restrictions on repeated use.

Compared to Grim's Reboot.exe Augment, this one is clearly a lot riskier and more difficult to use, but also has some truly chaotic and lethal potential if used well. It's really up to the player's playstyle as to which is ultimately superior; do you feel like being a little bold and daring? Go Instant Reload. If you're not feeling so adventurous, Reboot.exe is for you.
