Answer: Jungle

Because of how his passive and ensuing playstyle work, Feng Mao is a lot likelier to see high level use out of the Jungle than as an Offlaner. Still, he can more than competently perform either function if tasked.

2. Feng Mao's best stats are in Mobility and Attack Power, a tie. What score do they receive?

Answer: Seven

This alignment of stats makes Feng Mao's approach clear: rush in on foes in ambush, then use Abilities to tie them down and hopefully finish them off. His item build should typically always be made with this dynamic in mind.

3. Feng Mao's Passive, Executioner's Path, is inarguably the most (in)famous of its kind in the entire game. It rewards Feng Mao for landing Unique Hero Takedowns with what permanent buff?

Answer: Physical Power

"Unique Hero Takedown", the game's official term for it, means that Feng Mao must be involved in the killing of an enemy he has not yet been involved in killing. It does not mean he has to actually land the killing blow;merely gaining an Assist will activate Executioner's Path. This Passive is responsible for one of the most notoriously fast paced playstyles in the entire game, as it causes the Feng Mao player to eventually want to appear in all three lanes (potentially visiting the Duo Lane twice or more!), plus seek out the opposing Jungler, so that he may acquire the maximum five stacks for Executioner's Path.

This is also why Feng Mao tends to be used as a Jungler more, as this makes it easier and less punishing for him to roam around the map if he isn't responsible for also defending the Offlane.

4. Reaping Dash is Feng Mao's Alternative Ability. It is a fantastic tool to close a fight with, just as it is to open up, because of what happens when it records a kill. What happens if Reaping Dash is used to end a fight?

Answer: Cooldown Refunded

This is crucial in helping Feng Mao attack the Duo Lane in particular, as it could let Feng Mao kill either the Support or the Carry, then immediately catch up to the other one and potentially kill them too. It could also help if Feng Mao is attempting to jump in a lane, and a second enemy just happens to be there in general.

5. Safeguard, Feng Mao's Primary Ability, when used, gives Feng Mao a very brief Spellshield. What does Spellshield do?

Answer: Block Abilities

Any and all Abilities, regardless of the damage they deal, will be completely blocked by a Spellshield. On the flip side, Spellshield does absolutely nothing against Basic Attacks, making it mainly useful for Feng Mao to attack the Midlane and potentially Offlane with.

6. Hamstring is Feng Mao's Secondary Ability. It causes Feng Mao to swing his glaive twice, applying a status effect to the afflicted. What status?

Answer: Slow

In addition, it does deal extra damage if it only manages to hit one target, giving it some added utility if being used to ambush a solo lane. The Slow is significant, as this can let Feng Mao prevent an enemy from getting away, making it easier to accumulate Executioner's Path stacks.

7. Earth Shatter is Feng Mao's Ultimate Ability. At first glance, it appears like a very basic "jump and slam your weapon down" type attack. But, it comes with a very nasty mechanic that can allow it to do far, far more damage. What mechanic is attached to Earth Shatter?

Answer: Execute

Execute is a mechanic that causes a target to instantly die when they reach a certain HP threshold, even if the attack ordinarily wouldn't have killed in that particular situation. For Feng Mao's Earth Shatter, the Execute is extremely lenient: if a target falls beneath 300/480/660 HP (dependent on the level Earth Shatter is at), the target will just die on the spot.

Given that this skill's base power never exceeds 500, this effectively means it could kill a target which has 1160 or less HP on the spot. For reference, the tankier characters in this game tend to end the game with anywhere from 2700-3500 health, and the frailer characters a lot less. So Earth Shatter can easily turn into a walking kill button if played well.

8. Feng Mao can, like anyone, choose from one of three Hero Augments. His first choice is Ichorous Glaive, which can be nice if the player desires some sustainability for Feng Mao. What must the player do to activate Ichorous Glaive and heal Feng Mao?

Answer: Kill Enemy Units

The wording on this really demands an attentive player to understand exactly how it works. For one, "Enemy Units" refers to anything Feng Mao is allowed to deal damage to, which extends to minions, monsters, and enemy players. For another, Ichorous Glaive heals 3.5% of Feng Mao's "Missing Health", not his max HP, which is unfortunately going to always be a lot less.

As a saving grace, that 3.5% is increased to 35% if Feng Mao lands an execute kill with Earth Shatter. So there's that, at least.

9. Imperial Duelist, Feng Mao's second Hero Augment choice, is excellent for if Feng Mao is attacking an enemy who actually fights back. It applies a debuff to targets, if Feng Mao hits them with what?

Answer: Basic Attack

The debuff is a very simple flat debuff of them taking more damage and dealing less damage. Still, this can help quite a lot in 1v1s, which will be vital if Feng Mao is used as an Offlaner, or if he is ambushing a solo lane.

10. Seismic Smash is Feng Mao's final choice for a Hero Augment. It grants a buff to Earth Shatter, letting it apply a status to its victims. What status?

Answer: Stun

With this Augment, Earth Shatter will now knock enemies up and then stun them when they land. This would make Earth Shatter a much more palatable approach option against enemies with plenty of health, but it does interfere with using it as a tool to execute enemies with.
