Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A warrior armed with a powerful mace to bludgeon heretics with, Serath is a straightforward choice for the Offlane. What second role has Omeda Studios recommended her for?

Answer: Jungle

Serath can be downright nasty coming out of the Jungle, as she can move blindingly fast, hit extremely hard and even make escape difficult for assailants with a small bit of crowd control as well.

Serath can be nasty catching people off guard, but she can bludgeon foes just fine as an Offlaner as well. Here, Serath can put her massive Physical scaling to great use in trading blows with enemies.

Interestingly, Serath actually was recommended for the Carry role in "Paragon". This is even more noteworthy, as there are no melee characters recommended for this role here in "Predecessor". In "Paragon", the game worked a lot differently which made it possible to act as a melee Carry. With Serath's stats more or less being left untouched between the two games, it should be clear to see how she offered sufficient damage output to make the role work in that game.

Sadly, in "Predecessor", Serath isn't a consistently strong choice for Carry. Her bulk is very poor and life can be difficult for melee focused characters in this lane in general, due to the lane having two players which will often pack at least a fair bit of ranged firepower.

That said, if any melee character was going to try Carry in this game, Serath would probably be close to, if not the best bet for it. Phase as a Support would be highly recommended if any player was going to try this out, to help make up for Serath's lack of range.
2. Serath's stats are exceptionally strong. What is her highest stat?

Answer: Basic Attack Power

Serath can readily dish out some pain, and fast with her blistering 8 in Basic Attack power, a number notably equal to or higher than every Carry character in the game and only trailing Yin's 9 out of all melee characters.
3. Serath's passive is Fallen Grace. This rewards Serath for at least notching an assist, or recording a kill on an enemy player. By walking to the location the kill happened at, what will happen to Serath?

Answer: Her Ultimate gets activated

Serath's Ultimate Ability, Heresy, will be immediately and freely activated once Serath picks up a visage that a slain foe leaves behind. It will not place manual activation of her Ultimate on cooldown or any sort of restriction, meaning Serath could easily turn one kill into a vicious snowball of Ultimate power, using the visage to freely activate it, then manually activating it immediately when the visage runs out.

This Passive makes Serath an absolute terror to deal with in team fights: even just one fallen ally Serath gets ahold of can turn the tide of the fight swiftly in Serath's team's favor.

It is worth noting that Serath must be involved in killing the target in some way: even just an assist will do. If Serath doesn't at least record an assist, the slain foe will not drop a visage.
4. Serath's Alternate Ability is Chastise. This is a fast Ability which does a minor amount of damage and applies Slow to foes. That said, there is a hidden side effect to this Ability: by building Serath a certain way, Chastise's cast speed can be improved. The increase of what enhances Chastise's cast speed?

Answer: Serath's Attack Speed

This is not really a problem for most Serath builds, as players tend to build at least a bit, if not a lot, of Attack Speed on Serath. Doing so will directly benefit Chastise as well as Serath's hefty Basic Attacks, offering a straightforward incentive to players.
5. Heaven's Fury is Serath's Primary Ability, giving her a great tool to get in close to targets and fast. Upon casting this Ability, what does Serath do?

Answer: Teleport to the target

This is a lock-on Ability, similarly to Khaimera's Ambush. Like Ambush, the player will press the button once to spawn a white crosshair. Once they line up the crosshair with an enemy in range and press the button again to confirm their target, Serath will teleport to the target and attack them with five undodgable light attacks.

Famously, Serath is intangible while attacking her target. This is a great way to evade crowd control attacks that would otherwise halt her advance. As such, this is a fantastic tool to chase down fleeing foes with that has very minimal counterplay to it. Serath can't even be shot by an enemy tower while amidst Heaven's Fury!
6. Serath's Secondary Ability is Ascend, letting her take flight and peer down with a brief chance to choose a space to crash land down on. Kallari has a similar Ability that functions as a lock-on; is Serath's Ascend a lock-on Ability?

Answer: No

This Ability can take some time and skill to learn to use, because it does require some pretty noticeable precision from the user. When activating Ascend, Serath will fly up high. From here, the player has 1.8 seconds to choose a space to land. Generally, players would probably aim to land atop another player, but some characters have some serious mobility and Serath will only have 1.8 seconds to try and follow someone using this Ability with.

It can also be used to escape a nasty situation, as Serath can quite easily use it to get over various structures or walls inside the Jungle with. This can make it a great asset for taking Objectives with, as Serath could make a quick escape from the enemy after taking an Objective right in their face.
7. Heresy is Serath's Ultimate Ability. Here, she turns into a raging, infernal demon whose stats experience a brief but enormous enhancement. During this state, she also afflicts victims of her wrath with an exclusive status known as Infernal Strikes. What does Infernal Strikes do?

Answer: Deal True damage over time

Serath is not lacking in firepower needed to blast a tank to pieces, but True damage sure helps to accelerate the process. Application of Infernal Strikes is very straightforward, as Serath needs only to hit targets while Heresy is active.
8. Serath, like everyone else, may choose one of three Hero Augments. Her first choice is Vital Resonance, healing Serath every time she collects a visage. What is the healing value based off of?

Answer: Serath's Physical Power

This is perfect, as players are clearly going to want to build Serath's Physical Power for extremely straightforward reasons. The healing could be particularly useful during team fights, giving Serath the sustain needed to maintain the devastation that is her Ultimate.
9. Crushing Descent is Serath's second choice for an Augment, enhancing her Ascend Ability. When landing with Crushing Descent, what happens?

Answer: Enemies are Stunned

At first glance, players may notice that the Stun offered through this Augment is just a quarter of a second, and may ask- why bother? A quarter of a second is pretty pathetic, but when it's off the heels of an Ability with this much Mobility, it suddenly can seem like an eternity.

Indeed, this Augment makes Serath even harder to elude than she already is, giving her just enough time to recover from finishing Ascend to start beating the brains out of her briefly helpless victim
10. Wrath Unleashed is Serath's final choice for an Augment, making her Heresy even more frightening. What of Serath's receives an added buff during Heresy from Wrath Unleashed?

Answer: Critical Chance

The Critical Chance provided is quite enormous, being similar value to two separate items. This is an extremely hefty buff in the early game that admittedly does taper off fairly hard later in the game, as the Serath player will likely have built Critical Chance items and won't need this Augment anymore. Still, it's at least incredibly useful in the early game
